NFL Playoff Picture 2015: Super Bowl Scenarios and Odds Before Divisional Round
Buckle up, folks. The divisional round is going to be a bumpy ride.
Sure, the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs came and went with a thud, having just one game separated by less than 10 points. But man, this weekend is shaping up to be a special one for the NFL.
Both the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens have a chance to shake up the entire picture. Though the two franchises are seen as unlikely to make the Super Bowl, the Ravens proved two years ago that anything is possible.

Scenarios
At the start of the season, there might not have seemed to be any scenario where the Dallas Cowboys would make the postseason. Now, they are two wins away from a Super Bowl appearance.
Coming into Lambeau Field at 8-0 on the road this season, Dallas has a very likely scenario in which it could make the Super Bowl. NFL on ESPN notes just how often teams in that situation have finished in the big game:
Sure, the Cowboys haven't enjoyed a lot of postseason success recently, but this appears to be a different team than we've seen recently. Tony Romo is enjoying his best season in the NFL, while DeMarco Murray led the NFL in rushing yards by 484 more than Le'Veon Bell.
The only problem with that is the team the Cowboys will be facing in the Packers. Aaron Rodgers has been phenomenal in the last 16 games at home, via NFL on ESPN:
With all that said, the Packers may have an issue with Rodgers' health after suffering a calf injury. Rodgers has said that he plans on playing, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, but Adam Schefter of ESPN reports he has a slight tear:
On the AFC side, the Baltimore Ravens have a chance to make a similar run that led to their second Super Bowl. Joe Flacco isn't typically viewed as one of the top quarterbacks, but he has won five straight games in the postseason.
Ironically enough, his statistics are actually better than Tom Brady's in recent years:
For any of the underdogs to make their way to the Super Bowl, they will need a huge win this weekend. The Ravens and Cowboys either can't host a postseason game or are unlikely to do so, but they have proved they can win on the road when the stakes are high.
