Sharrif Floyd Injury: Updates on the Vikings DT's Knee and Return

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd left the field in Sunday's Week 13 game against the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury but was active for Week 14 before re-injuring the knee and leaving the contest.  

He was active for Week 16.

Floyd is an exceptional athlete with potential still to explore, which helped him become the 23rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

The former Florida Gators star has stood out as an interior pass-rusher in the pros, and Floyd should continue improving under defensive-minded Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer.
