Jaylen Brown Wears 76ers Jersey, Talks Teaming with LeBron James in New Twitch Stream
Jaylen Brown isn't waiting until the start of the 2026-27 NBA season to test out his new Philadelphia 76ers jersey.
Brown once again took to Twitch this offseason on Monday and did so while wearing a 76ers jersey.
He also sounded ready to live up to the elevated expectations:
There will be elevated expectations in place in Philadelphia this season in large part because of the new additions of Brown and LeBron James. The duo joining a lineup that already featured Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe means the 76ers have arguably the top roster in the league.
"What an opportunity that is," Brown said of playing alongside James.
"One of my favorite things to do is to learn. Despite what people may say, despite what people may feel. My favorite thing to do is to learn. I love learning. So to have the opportunity to learn from one of, if not the greatest player of all time. I get an opportunity to on the court, off the court, learn and gather experiences that can accumulate to my own knowledge base."
Brown's resume already includes a championship, NBA Finals MVP, Eastern Conference Finals MVP, two All-NBA selections and five All-Star nods. He is coming off his best individual season when he finished sixth in MVP voting and is still just 29 years old.
If teaming up with James leads him to elevate his game even more because of the knowledge that comes with playing alongside the King, Philadelphia will be in an even better position to take home a championship.
And that is surely what the front office envisioned when it put the roster together.
