Travis Outlaw Traded to 76ers: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks have agreed to a trade that sends Travis Outlaw to Philadelphia in exchange for Arnett Moultrie and a draft pick.
Marc Stein of ESPN provided specifics on the trade between the two teams:
The Knicks later confirmed the deal, adding that Moultrie has been waived:

Ian Begley of ESPN reported on why the Knicks waived Moultrie:
Outlaw, 30, played in 63 games last season with the Sacramento Kings, contributing 5.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. If reports from Stein are true, the small forward might be looking for a new home soon regardless of his play on the court.
It was reported over the weekend that the Knicks were likely to part ways with Outlaw to keep Travis Wear, per Ian Begley of ESPNNewYork.com. Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News offered his take on the move:
Essentially, the Knicks shed $3 million by trading Outlaw, per Spotrac, and are looking toward the future.
Moultrie had a limited role with Philly. The 2012 first-round pick has averaged just 3.6 points and 3.1 rebounds while playing in 59 games during his first two seasons in the NBA.
For Outlaw, the 12th-year player isn't likely to stick around with the Sixers. He has never been a consistent starter, but adds depth and has averaged double-digit points twice in his career.
