Colt McCoy, DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon's Post-Week 7 Fantasy Reaction
The Washington Redskins replaced Kirk Cousins on Sunday in a move that promises to muddy an already messy fantasy situation.
That's because Colt McCoy was the man to replace him, as NFL.com's Michael Fabiano noted:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Although the career 58.3 percent passer threw a 70-yard touchdown to Pierre Garcon on his first throw, Washington's passing offense is a situation you'll want to avoid as long as McCoy remains under center.
Should Robert Griffin III, who has been practicing on a limited basis, not return Week 8 (a must-own player if he's available, by the way), McCoy should remain on the waiver wire. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon are WR2/WR3 fringe players.
Here's a look at how each player did after McCoy entered Sunday:
| Colt McCoy | 11/12 | 128 | 10.7 | 1 | 0 | 9.12 |
| DeSean Jackson | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Pierre Garcon | 4 | 4 | 82 | 20.5 | 1 | 14.2 |
It's worth noting that McCoy and Jackson connected for a 36-yarder that was offset by a penalty, and Jackson drew pass interference on a 22-yard attempt.
Still, while Jackson has been the more valuable fantasy player this season, Garcon will be the better play moving forward. McCoy doesn't have the arm to fully utilize D-Jax's blazing speed. The 70-yard touchdown was a simple 10-yard curl route that Garcon took to the house, and the rest of his throws were mostly underneath until the final drive.
Change can oftentimes be good in the fantasy world. This is not one of those times. Here's to a clean bill of health for RGIII.
