
2014 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings: Week 6
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 6 of the 2014 NFL season.
1. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos
In the game when Manning threw his 500th career touchdown, he threw for a career-high 479 yards and four touchdowns. Simply amazing. Manning is averaging 323.3 yards and three touchdown passes per game. He faces the New York Jets in Week 6. They have allowed 2.4 touchdown passes per game.
2. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts
Luck is averaging 323.4 yards and 2.8 passing touchdowns per game. He has added 13 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game on the ground. He takes on the Houston Texans. Houston has allowed 253.2 passing yards per game.
3. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Rodgers only threw for 156 yards last week as the Packers edged out the Minnesota Vikings. He did throw three touchdown passes, giving him seven in the past two weeks and 12 on the year. This week, he faces the Miami Dolphins.
4. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Rivers is averaging 288.6 yards and 2.4 touchdowns per game. He has tossed 11 touchdowns in the past four games. Rivers should continue to dominate against the Oakland Raiders. He averaged 306 yards and 1.5 touchdowns against the Raiders last year.
5. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
Matty Ice is averaging 315.8 yards and 2.2 touchdowns per game. Look for a shootout against the Chicago Bears. The Bears have allowed 246.4 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game through the air.
6. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears
Cutler is averaging 259 yards and 2.4 touchdowns per game. He should put up big numbers against the Falcons. Atlanta has allowed 259.6 passing yards per game.
7. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles
Foles is averaging 293.3 yards and 1.2 touchdowns per game. He’s chipping in 9.6 rushing yards per game. Foles is averaging 284.7 yards and 2.3 touchdowns in home starts and 263 and 0.5 touchdowns on the road. The Eagles take on the New York Giants at home. The G-Men have allowed 265 passing yards per game.
8. Eli Manning, New York Giants
Manning is averaging 252.8 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in his past four games. He’ll look to stay hot against the Eagles. Philly has allowed 274.2 yards and 2.6 touchdowns per game.
9. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
Wilson is averaging just 213 passing yards per game, but he has thrown a pair of touchdowns in all four of his games. He’s also averaging 52.5 rushing yards per contest. He faces the Dallas Cowboys this week. Dallas has allowed 247.8 yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game.
10. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Bill Belichick and Brady reinvented themselves against a tough Cincinnati Bengals squad. Brady threw for 292 yards and a pair of scores. He’ll look to build on that performance against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has allowed 251.8 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game.
