Levante vs. Barcelona: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
It’s top versus bottom in La Liga, as Luis Enrique’s high-flying Barcelona outfit take on lowly Levante in Week 4.
The Blaugrana will be looking to preserve their perfect start to their domestic campaign, having won all three of their games without conceding a solitary goal. In stark contrast to that, Levante prop up the table after taking just one point from their trio of clashes so far; they'll be desperate to notch their first victory.

But as we’ve already seen in the Spanish top flight this season, shocks can happen and you can guarantee the home side will be desperate to make an impression in front of their own supporters with a much improved showing.
Nonetheless, it’s definitely not a clash to be missed, and to make sure you don’t, here’s all the information you need on where to catch the match on the box and via an online stream. Let’s also take a look at both sides and how they’re looking ahead of this vital contest.

On the opening day of the 2013/14 season Barcelona hammered Levante 7-0, and when you look at the respective fortunes of both sides on the cusp of this one, a repeat scoreline here is probably not completely out of the question.
Here are the highlights from that mauling:
For Les Granotes, it’s been a wholly forgettable opening to the campaign. Not only have they failed to register a win as of yet, but they’re the only team in the entire division that hasn’t scored a goal. And with a front line that’s not firing, it’s difficult to see how they’re going to breach a Barcelona defence that’s looked pretty impenetrable so far.
But in this fixture last season Levante took the lead against the the Catalonians before a Gerard Pique strike salvaged a point. Perhaps that’ll give them confidence ahead of this one but all the tangible evidence we’ve seen so far points towards a Barcelona victory.

Enrique has overseen four competitive games in his brief tenure so far; Barcelona have won them all without conceding a goal. And encouragingly for Cules, the pressing, intensity and work-rate that was synonymous with Barcelona at their very best has returned. For the club’s former midfielder, his managerial tenure couldn’t have started much better.
He’s also blooded a host of young players into the first-team set-up as well, as we can see here courtesy of Ben McAleer of WhoScored.com:
And although this youthful injection has given the squad some impetus, some of the senior figures also seem to be relishing the implementation of Enrique’s mantras, perhaps most encouragingly, Lionel Messi. The Argentinean hasn’t been quite as prolific as we’ve seen him in recent years, but his early displays have been bristling with vibrancy.
Messi has been a lot more diligent in his work-rate and his contribution to the team has been superb. Eventually, for a player like him the goals will come anyway.

It’d be no surprise if they came in this clash, either, as Barcelona should capitalise on Levante’s woes. The bottom club have looked unsure at the back and blunt in attack, and not only will they afford Barca the time to dictate proceedings, they don’t really seem to have the requisite nous to halt the league leaders.
For Barcelona, things just seem to be getting better and better. Let’s not forget, Neymar also returned to the side against Athletic Bilbao last time out, and the Brazilian bagged a wonderful brace, helping his team to a 2-0 win. Here’s how he won that game for the Blaugrana:
With a embarrassment of attacking riches, a surfeit of intricate midfielders and a bolstered, boisterous defence at his disposal, Enrique will continue Barcelona’s golden run against Levante. The hosts should have enough to ensure the scoreline isn't an embarrassing one, though.
Prediction: Levante 0-3 Barcelona
