Manchester United vs. QPR: Louis Van Gaal and Harry Redknapp Post-Match Reaction
Manchester United recorded their first win of the 2014-15 Premier League season on Sunday, beating Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils gave debuts to a number of summer signings, and the likes of Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo put together excellent performances to justify their price tag. Angel Di Maria scored in his home debut and was a menace every time he touched the ball, while Ander Herrera bossed proceedings in the centre of the pitch.
Di Maria struck first when his free-kick sailed over everyone and landed in the back of the net untouched, before Herrera converted from the edge of the box to double the hosts' lead.

Wayne Rooney added a third just before half-time, and another tremendous pass from Di Maria found Juan Mata early in the second half to make the score 4-0.
Mata made way to give Radamel Falcao his debut in the second half, and the pace of the match dropped significantly once the Spain international left the pitch. United easily held possession, as QPR never once looked like making it a contest.

Redknapp also believed his defence could have done a better job preventing the Red Devils' two goals late in the first half, via the Premier League's official Twitter feed:
The Red Devils will play Leicester City next, and while the Premier League newcomers have looked very impressive so far in the 2014-15 Premier League campaign, this new United should be heavy favourites in a fixture against the Foxes.
The new summer signings all slotted beautifully into the team, and while it's just one match, the optimism surrounding the club should carry them to even better results.
QPR will host Stoke City in a mid-table clash that could have big implications on how the race to avoid relegation will play out.
