Aguero Injures Knee vs. Everton
Saturday, Dec. 6

Manchester City suffered a serious blow when Sergio Aguero came off against Everton with a knee injury. Everton's official Twitter feed reported the news:
ESPN FC described the incident:
Mike Keegan of BBC provided an update on Aguero's injury from Manuel Pellegrini:
The Premier League had more from Pellegrini:
Tom Williams of the AFP noted that the forward had tears in his eyes as he came off:
Manchester City's depth up front is solid, with Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic joining Aguero as top options capable of scoring at any given time.

But the group is susceptible to injuries. Health concerns plagued Jovetic's start to life with the Citizens, and while his form in 2014-15 has been steady, the threat of health issues remains. Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe reminded fans of as much after Aguero's knock:
Another injury to Aguero was the last thing the club needed, but City proved in the past that they can survive without their star striker. His absence didn't stop the Citizens from lifting the 2013-14 Premier League trophy, and Pellegrini will hope his squad has a similar reaction to this latest setback.
