Brett Favre: Return To NFL May Taint Legacy
Favre was an unlikely hero from the get go, he was a mere humble southern goof with no true textbook quarterback resemblance. He surpassed his predecessors, matching their skill with heart, exemplified in his career-best performance in the game the night after his father's death. Moreover, he proved to NFL fans everywhere his strong human will by overcoming a severe addiction to painkillers. He is, as of now, an American hero.
Furthermore, despite Brett Favre’s brief campaign with the New York Jets, his legacy as a Packer legend and hero still remains very much in tact. He is still Brett Favre, the famous Green Bay quarterback, remembered for his gridiron glory amidst the backdrop of the Lambeau Field tundra. But, if he recovers accordingly from his recent shoulder surgery, which the unbreakable Favre likely will, he sadly may suit up in Minnesota Viking décor. Ugh! Minnesota, a team detested by cheese-heads everywhere.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Frightfully, Favre will abandon the principle of the Pack, betraying the faithful for their years of worthy praise. Thus, his bold and brass tactics, his record-breaking starts, his number of comebacks, and years of winning seasons will solemnly fade in the midst of Viking villainy. Minnesota is exploiting the legendary Favre by luring him with the promise of opportunity, giving him the chance for one last hurrah and the potential of raising once again the coveted Lombardi Trophy. The three-time NFL MVP and career passing touchdown leader is searching for an exclamation point to his already monolithic career.
However, his return will only add a question mark that will forever haunt his legacy. Honestly, even if Favre were to win a Super Bowl with the Vikings (which is somewhat likely, considering the talent already in Minnesota), the legend of the bold No. 4 would be forever tainted. By simply sporting a purple and gold jersey, he no longer will be remembered as the faithful Green Bay hero he once was, yet in the realm of NFL mythology, he will transgress into one of the greatest NFL super villains of all time. In the words of Bruce Wayne: “You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Sadly, Brett will not let his legend die, and this witty aphorism seemingly will surface for Lambeau's famed No. 4.
I am not implying that Brett Favre’s return will in any way erase his accomplishments, yet I am simply stating that his return may strongly influence the way he is remembered. He will remain a superior competitor and a man of high moral fiber, but the legend of Brett Favre will suffer. This is, however, all speculation. Only time will tell the fate of Brett and his legacy.
