Cavaliers' Best Have Awoken: Look out, Orlando
Game Five has ended.
And the Question remains: "Do the Orlando Magic have what it takes to finish off the best team in the NBA?"
Make no mistake about it—it will not be an easy task.
The Magic, a team that has been criticized about it's reliance on the long ball, showed why they have gotten that attention.
In the fourth quarter it looked like the final seconds of a NFL game, when Hail Mary after Hail Mary was launched.
The Magic shot 32 percent from behind the arc.
I am not saying that game six is going to be a easy win, but it looks like the Cavaliers are showing just what kind of team they are.
There have been three games in the Eastern Conference Finals decided by two points or less. Each of those games were decided by a last second shot.
The Magic have gotten the lucky bounce in two of those. There have also been two ten point games in which each of the team have won one.
The difference is a mere two points that the Magic have against the Cavs. That's not what you would call, "a beating," is it?
The series shifts down to Orlando to put the Cavaliers away for 2009. Will that happen? Not if you are form Cleveland. With LeBron James on the floor, anything is possible. Also, Mo Williams found his groove.
It will be very difficult for the Cavaliers to win at Amway Arena. But, believe it or not, the last team that gave up a 3-1 series was the Magic to the Pistons.
I am not going to call this one because every time that I have, I have been wrong.
Don't get too confident down in Disneyland. The Cavaliers have a lot to lose and they will not go down easily.
