Questions for Kurt Warner- Inside the Quarterback's Studio
Kurt Warner's story in the NFL is as good as they come.
Starting off as an undrafted free agent for the Green Bay Packers, he was released before the season even began. After his release, he stocked shelves for $5.50 an hour at a local grocery store in Iowa.
Eventually, Warner decided he wanted to play football again and went onto a successful stint in the Arena Football League. After that, he went on to NFL Europe after being singed by the St. Louis Rams.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After some time overseas playing for the Amsterdam Admirals, Warner came back to the states. In 1999, he led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl win against the Tennessee Titans.
And that's just half of the trip.
After another trip to the Super Bowl and a loss to the New England Patriots on a field goal, Warner was signed to the New York Giants before losing the starting job to a young Eli Manning. After leaving the Giants, he would show up gift wrapped on the doorstep of the Arizona Cardinals.
After three years of sharing quarterback duties with Matt Leinart, he led the Cardinals to their first ever Super Bowl appearance and reminded everyone why he is the most grateful guy in the NFL.
So here are a few questions I'd like to ask the guy.
1. Was your decision to come back for another season in the NFL spurred by the loss in the Super Bowl, or was it always in the back of your mind?
2. Is Ben Roethlisberger really that thick headed about his abilities in person, or is the Steelers' defense the only thing keeping him from hurting himself on the field?
3. What kind of work with Civitan International do you want to do in the upcoming offseason?
4. Where does the 2008 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for your work with the First Things First Foundation stack up against your four Pro Bowl selections, your two first team All-Pro selections, your Super Bowl MVP award, and Super Bowl ring from 1999?
5. If you could pick any quarterback and their respective team in the history of the NFL to play against, who would it be?
6. What kind of goals have you set for yourself and the team in the 2009 season?
7. Have you ever looked back at what you have accomplished and wondered how it all happened?
8. What was the driving reason for leaving the Hy-Vee grocery store in Cedar Falls?
9. How did NFL Europe help you as a player?
10. If heaven exists, what would you want God to say at the Pearly Gates? (Ok, I stole that one from James Lipton, but still).
Thank you for your time, Mr. Warner. Hope to hear from you soon.
