Should The NFL Play The Super Bowl Outside Of America?

Sean E. DouglasMay 28, 2009

Has Roger Goodell and the NFL big boys lost their collective minds?

Don't get me wrong the NFL is the top pro sport in America and there are many good things about the product they put on the field every year.

But first NFL brass changed the Pro Bowl, away from Hawaii and now maybe the Super Bowl will go to England in 2014?

I can see it all now (on tv that is) when Adrian Peterson makes that historic touchdown run, to win the Lombardi trophy and the Brits go wild.

Do not get me wrong, I am not a Vikings fan, as a matter of fact I really can not stand that team. But as an NFL fan, I would hope Minnesota faithful would still be able to share that type of moment here in the stats.

Picture This Steeler Fans

Pittsburgh has one of the best traveling fan bases in the NFL.

As a Steel Curtain fan, can you imagine that Santonio Holmes TD at the end of the game last year, and then he jumps into a crowd of soccer fans to celebrate.

Sound Off

If I am the only one that feels this way fine, but I would love to hear from other fans if they agree with this thinking.

To me it's time we all start letting Goodell and the NFL, know that it is not ok for them to take, the biggest game in America and move it to another country!

Do you feel different about this?

All of you that feel like this would be a good move to leave the states, I would love to hear from you as well.

In the end

I just feel like the big boys, are starting to lose touch with those that care most about the sport. The reason for this is obviously for money and more fans around the world.

I have no problem with a business trying to grow, especially in this economy today.

But to me taking this game away from fans that care like myself, would be a big slap in the face!
