Gerard Deulofeu - £5.4m
The Barcelona loanee is starting to get more and more minutes at Everton and looks as though he’s set to play a big part for the Toffees in the second half of the campaign.
He’s yet to start a game in the Premier League, but his first start is surely not far after a string of impressive cameo performances from the bench.
When he does begin to start games, the points will flow. Deulofeu is pacey, tricky and has the eye for a spectacular. Yes, he is raw, but he offers a completely different attacking dimension for the Toffees.
Roberto Martinez has hinted at starting the youngster. And like his teammate Ross Barkley, when Deulofeu gets his chance, he will be very tough to dislodge from the starting XI.
Erik Lamela - £7.6m
The Argentine was Tottenham’s marquee summer signing and the man who many thought was going to replace Gareth Bale. So far though, he has done little to live up the price tag. He has spoken himself of how difficult it has been to adapt to the ferocious nature of English football.
But Lamela is a class act and will surely play a much more significant role in the second part of the season. He is exactly what this Tottenham team is lacking at the moment in terms of their attacking forays.
Andre Villas-Boas started Lamela against Manchester City and he will continue to ease him into English football. When he adapts, the former Roma man will be a fine, fine player for Tottenham. Get him in your team in anticipation.
Philippe Coutinho - £8.5m
Having missed a significant portion of the campaign through injury, Coutinho has become something of a forgotten man at Liverpool.
Naturally, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have drawn in plenty of plaudits following their goalscoring exploits. But with Coutinho easing his way back into the side, they could be getting even more service.
The Brazilian’s close control and eye for a pass will facilitate a host of chances for the deadly duo and Coutinho has started to show glimpses he is not far from finding his best form. He scored the opening goal in the Merseyside derby and will play a huge role for Liverpool in the latter stages of the campaign.
Get him in your team now before his price inevitably increases.
