Stars Who Will Excel This Weekend

Luis Suarez, Liverpool

Let's start with the early kick-off, the game that will bring Merseyside to a standstill on Nov. 23.

Everton remain unbeaten at home this season and have already improved under the leadership of Roberto Martinez. If progress is to continue building after Liverpool's visit, the Toffees' boss will have to find a solution to Luis Suarez's constant ability to win games for his team.

The Uruguayan striker has notched eight goals in six league appearances since returning to the side, a rapid output that has seen him join teammate Daniel Sturridge at the top of the Premier League's goalscoring chart, per BBC Sport.

His crafty style of play continues to unlock defences for fun, as highlighted by the 26-year-old's five goals across the last three games.

Suarez's ability to weave his way through physical defences will be put to the test at Goodison Park against the likes of Phil Jagielka, but if he can replicate the form that saw him score in last year's 2-2 draw, we will surely see the controversial figure celebrating in front of Everton's dugout once more.

Sergio Aguero, Manchester City

One of the only men in the Premier League who can match Suarez's form is Sergio Aguero, who joins the Anfield forward on eight goals this campaign.

Aguero makes the most of his touches and isn't the kind of player to dwell in possession. He can instantly control before getting off his shot without a second's thought, an action that often results with a rippling of the net.

Manuel Pellegrini's most prolific striker is so often the difference in big games, ensuring Tottenham's defence have an almighty task ahead of them at the Etihad.

City typically bounce back well to losses—as noted in the 7-0 thrashing of Norwich after their defeat to Chelsea—and will be looking to build confidence after the loss to Sunderland.

Spurs have won none of their last three Premier League games and face the prospect of dropping below City if they fail to grab anything in Manchester, extra incentive for Aguero to bring his shooting boots.

Samuel Eto'o, Chelsea

After a slow start, there are signs Samuel Eto'o's Chelsea career is beginning to gain momentum.

The Cameroonian forward has burst into life with three goals in his last two starts, offering Jose Mourinho's men a shot in the arm that has been missing from Fernando Torres and Demba Ba's game.

West Ham will be itching to impress against their visitors. Sam Allardyce's men should be aiming to replicate last season's 3-1 win in the corresponding fixture and will do their utmost to crush the confidence of Mourinho's stuttering side.

Eto'o's clever movement and ability to create a yard of space has the potential to pull Allardyce's centre-backs apart, a vital trick when receiving passes from the likes of Eden Hazard, Andre Schurrle and Juan Mata. With a little intelligence, he can escape suffocation from the home side's physical back four.

Expect an immensely close game at the Boleyn Ground. London derbies are often decided by the smallest moments of quality, something Eto'o can provide when his team need a lift.
