As one of the most respected opinions in football, Arsene Wenger ensured that the constant struggle for the title of "world's best" took an interesting turn this week, saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is currently better than Lionel Messi.

It's a debate that has long been contested among fans and pundits alike, who continue to argue over whether it is the talisman of Real Madrid or Barcelona who reigns supreme.
