Australia opened up their autumn tour with a disappointing loss to England last weekend but can look forward to Saturday's fixture against Italy being a more manageable encounter.

The Azzurri have lost each of their last three matches since winning two of their five Six Nations outings earlier this year, but captain Sergio Parisse will hope to lift his side to a surprise win over their Southern Hemisphere visitors.

With both teams desperate for a victory, read on for a full preview of what promises to be an open encounter. Full viewing information is included so you don't miss a minute.

Italy Key Man: Sergio Parisse

A leader for his national side just as he is at Stade Francais, there really isn't a fixture where Sergio Parisse isn't considered a key player.

Monumental during the Italians' good run in this year's Six Nations championship, the No. 8 has continued to feature regularly for the Azzurri during their summer trials, carrying for the most yardage among his pack members in two of the three fixtures.

Considering his talent, the 30-year-old hasn't received just reward over the course of his 11-year career as an Italian international but has always played with the same upfront attitude, regardless of the opposition.

As France 24 notes, the veteran is now just two caps away from his 100th international Test:

Opposite Parisse this weekend is Ben Mowen, recently named Wallabies' captain but someone who had a relatively quiet outing in the loss at Twickenham last Saturday.

If an Australia defeat is once again to be the outcome, it's vital that Parisse restricts his Wallabies' counterpart and continues to carry well in the loose. However, he also has the unenviable task of helping across the line with the likes of Tevita Kuridrani and Adam Ashley-Cooper threatening out wide.

Australia Key Man: Matt Toomua

While he may just be a handful of games into his international career, Matt Toomua is already impressing in the amber and gold of Australia, just as many presumed he might based on his Brumbies form.

After receiving a run at fly-half, however, Ewen McKenzie appears to have settled on the 23-year-old playing at inside centre, his production levels benefiting all the more because of it.

Against England last Saturday, the youngster had an enjoyable time of things against his English counterparts, teaming up well with Tevita Kuridrani and even bullying Billy Twelvetrees at times, specifically in the lead-up to his try.

Toomua's history as a No. 10 means that his passing and playmaking are still useful in the position, but his physical assets have lent themselves well to the youngster's switch out to a wider role.

Alberto Sgarbi is the man set to line up opposite Australia's newest poster boy at inside centre, while Luke McLean's presence at full-back could be an obstacle, too.
