Yankees Sweep as Streak Hits Nine
Joba Chamberlain started and didn't make it through the first inning. It was not due to ineffectiveness but, rather, from taking a shot off the knee. The X-rays are negative, though, and it was diagnosed as a bruised knee; he should make his next start.
Alfredo Aceves came in to get the last out of the first and pitch the next three innings giving up zero runs on three hits with a walk and strikeout.
Jon Albaladejo pitched two-and-a-third innings, giving up four runs and five hits with two strikeouts.
