Michael Vick-Enough is Enough!
Michael Vick, who is serving a 23 month sentence for his involvement in a dog fighting conspiracy, is trying to get back into the NFL and continue what would have been a marvelous career with the Atlanta Falcons.
Vick has been told by Roger Goodell that he will have to show genuine remorse in order to be eligible to play and be reinstated into the NFL. Vick, who is due to be released on May 20 from prison, could have time to make a mini camp and join a new team after his release from the Atlanta Falcons.
So far there has been little to no interest, but as the time of his release approaches, teams who have needs would be wise to take a look at one of the best athletes that ever played quarterback in the NFL.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The issue I have with the "genuine remorse" comment from Roger Goodell is that Michael Vick is one of the only athletes who has actually admitted to his wrong doings and has taken his punishment accordingly.
Vick pleaded guilty to the dog fighting conspiracy among other charges, and has spent almost 23 months in prison. For Roger Goodell to expect more from Michael Vick than serving his time and apologizing is stretching his authority as far as I am concerned.
Roger Goodell set out to be a stickler and punish players who did not follow the conduct policy, which obviously Michael Vick violated. However, unlike with most other players, the law stepped in and punished Michael Vick harshly. The law should be acknowledged and Michael Vick should be reinstated because of his cooperation and acknowledgment of his wrong doings.
In his admission, Michael Vick did something that most high profile athletes do not do, tell the truth. Athletes such as Barry Bonds, O.J. Simpson, Adam Jones, and many more have all done things to upset the conduct policies of their respected leagues, and have had the attitude of being not-guilty.
Barry Bonds insists he did not know that the drugs he was taking were illegal and helped with strength and batting power. OJ insists he did not kill anyone and that he was only taking back his own things when he robbed a hotel room with a gun. Adam Jones insists that all his arrests were someone else's fault and he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
How is Michael Vick different? He admitted he was in a dog fighting conspiracy, he accepted his punishment, and he apologized for his involvement. His 23 month prison term should be good enough for Roger Goodell given the circumstance, and Michael Vick should be allowed to rejoin the league without hesitation.
Vick also met with former head coach Tony Dungy inside the prison on Tuesday, and Vick's agent reported it to be a very positive meeting. Michael Vick will be well served having someone of Tony Dungy's character back him up and mentor him as he tries to convince Roger Goodell of his sincerity. If Vick can convince Roger Goodell and the league to be reinstated, here are a few teams that could be a good fit:
The Minnesota Vikings- Michael Vick played in a dome in Atlanta, and would be able to compete for a starting job at quarterback on day one. He would also be surrounded by weapons like Adrian Peterson, Chester Taylor, and Percy Harvin. Plus Michael brings a strong arm and accurate passing which would also be a plus for a team that has struggled since the departure of stars such as Culpepper, Randy Moss, and Chris Carter. Michael Vick could bring excitement and energy back into Minnesota, and could be the key to turning it around for the Vikings franchise.
The Oakland Raiders- The Raiders are a mess as usual and would have nothing to lose by adding Vick. Michael would bring the speed and agility to provide a great Wildcat based offense around Bryan McFadden, who was a rookie last season and struggled without guidance. He also would have Justin Fargas who is a tough runner who could keep the pressure off him during pass blocking. Michael Vick would be by far the best player on the Raiders if they took the chance, and character is not usually an issue when the Raiders choose players.
The Detroit Lions- The Lion's franchise is in shambles and needs a spark of some sort. Michael definitely would provide one and get fans in the seats as well as aid rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford while he is learning the offense. Michael would also be a big-play, change-of-pace guy to confuse defenses and provide much needed breaks in the game for the new rookie, who is said to be the future of the franchise. Michael Vick would be paired with second year rusher Kevin Smith who boasted good rookie numbers last season on a pathetic team.
The Vikings would seem to be the best fit, and it will be interesting to see if anyone takes a chance on an amazing athlete in Michael Vick. Michael has done his time and it would be very poor of Roger Goodell to punish him past the end of his prison term.
