Southampton vs. Sunderland: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
Sunderland travel to St Mary's Stadium on Saturday to battle Southampton in what will be the second Premier League match of the season for both clubs.
As noted by The Away Fans on Twitter, the English stadium has been retrofitted to feature seating geared toward social media junkies:
The two sides suffered different fates in their EPL openers last week; The Saints beat West Brom with a late penalty from Rickie Lambert as they opened their campaign on a high note with three points.
The Black Cats went down 1-0 to Fulham as Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio's 2013-14 Stadium of Light debut didn't go over as planned.
To make matters worse, the Black Cats suspended defender Phil Bardsley on Tuesday for comments he made on social media following the club's opening-match loss. He will not be available for Saturday's tilt with Southampton.
With early table position up for grabs, we've got you covered with vital match information below before the two EPL sides square off.

Southampton Player to Watch: Luke Shaw
The 18-year-old left-back had a decent season for the Saints last year, starting 22 Premier League matches. Despite being one of the youngest regulars in the Premier League, Luke Shaw is quickly earning a reputation as a valuable defender.
Manchester United have noticed.
The Red Devils were reportedly considering making a push for the teenage starlet, but ESPN FC's Richard Jolly broke news on Wednesday that manager Mauricio Trossero and the Saints would reject any and all bids for Shaw's services.
With confidence from his club in tow, Shaw was responsible for Southampton's game-winning goal against West Brom. As noted by the Premier League's Twitter account, Youssouf Mulumbu's foul on Shaw opened the door for Lambert's penalty:
Shaw will have to contend with the likes of Cabral, Emanuele Giaccherini and Jozy Altidore on Saturday in what will be his latest chance to give Southampton fans hope for a brighter future.
Sunderland Player to Watch: Jozy Altidore
The American striker signed for the Black Cats in July in the midst of a strong summer for Jurgen Klinsmann and the U.S. national team.
To make good on his recent promise to Sunderland fans in an interview with Neil Cameron of The Newcastle Journal, Altidore will have to duplicate some of the success he's had for the United States over the past few summers.
Fresh off a three-goal performance for the U.S. against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Altidore wasn't able to help the club record an equalizer against Fulham. But he did get off to a fast start with his new outfit by creating a number of scoring opportunities for his teammates.
As noted by Mike Prindiville of Pro Soccer Talk, Di Canio believes the striker will have a strong season with his new Premier League side.
Apparently, so does NBC Sports Network. Sports Illustrated's Grant Wahl is among those who will be watching Saturday's tilt closely in anticipation of some Jozy magic:
Sunderland supporters would love to see Altidore score his first goal for the Black Cats against Southampton, and if that breakthrough occurs, the away side have a great chance to pick up three points.
Prediction: Southampton 1, Sunderland 1
Still experimenting with lineups and feeling out their clubs in the early part of the season, don't expect an extremely efficient effort from either side. Scoring talent abounds on each team, but so does defense to stop it.
Lambert continues to shine far after his heroic first appearance for England against Scotland; another strike against Sunderland would give the 31-year-old three goals in his last three matches (international and club).
Altidore will command most of the defensive attention from Southampton on Saturday, but with Steven Fletcher still nursing an injury, don't expect the Black Cats to pressure Saints goalkeeper Artur Boruc too terribly.
Sunderland gets their first point of the season on Saturday, while Southampton manage to keep pace with the middle of the pack in the EPL table by improving their point total to four.
