2009 Cleveland Browns Offensive Grades
Boosting the Browns offensive production this year was one of the first issues Eric Mangini and Co. had to face.
Adding John St. Clair and Floyd Womack to the offensive line corps will give immediate relief to a horrible running game.
Alex Mack will start right away, and he and Joe Thomas will likely make the Pro Bowl.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I grade the O-line B+ only because they are a new group. They will need a little time to gel.
Quarterback is still in the air, but I believe that by the season opener Brady Quinn will be the starting QB over Anderson.
Both players can be effective given time with an effective running game. B is my grade for the quarterbacks.
The running back corps needs to have a better '09 season.
Jamal Lewis has aging legs and Jerome Harrison is at best a third down back. James Davis could be a key for this group. If he pans out, he could give Lewis some much needed rest.
The grade for the running backs is a C+.
The tight ends are a very strong group.
Robert Royal, Steve Heiden, and Martin Rucker will all be contributors in different ways for this offense. The tight ends get a B+ grade.
The wide receivers are going to be a very interesting group to say the least.
Draft picks Brian Robiskie and Mohamed Massaquoui will need to have an immediate impact. I expect Braylon to be better this year but expect nothing from Steptoe or Patten.
Josh Cribbs is a gamebreaker. Hopefully he is very involved in the offensive scheme. The receivers' grade is a B+.
The Browns Offensive product should be greatly improved this season. They can't be much worse.
GO BROWNS!
