Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Cesc Fabregas Would Be Quality Addition
David Moyes undoubtedly wants to put his stamp on Manchester United, and landing Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas would be a fine start.
According to ESPN FC, Manchester United has reached out to Barcelona about the availability of Fabregas. It's only natural that teams would be coming to Barcelona with these kinds of talks.
Fabregas has yet to find a defined role in Camp Nou, and he can't even hold a starting spot.

The 26-year-old is too talented to not be playing.
Whether Barcelona and Fabregas will continue to try and improve that situation remains to be seen, but no such uncertainty exists over what Fabregas could do for the Red Devils.
Moyes arrives to a Man United squad with a midfield in transition. Paul Scholes retired, and Anderson may be leaving according to a report from the Mail. Oh, also, Ryan Giggs is ancient and Wayne Rooney's era with the Red Devils may be coming to an end according to many reports, including this one from the Mail.
This is where Moyes will really be able to put his stamp on this squad. He can shape the midfield to his liking, and consequently United's whole attack.
Moyes likes to use midfield diamonds. He had great success at Everton with Steven Pienaar and Fellaini in interchangeable midfield roles. Fabregas would allow him to have a similar setup.
He could be paired with either Rooney or Shinji Kagawa. This would even allow Fabregas to line up behind his old teammate Robin van Persie.
Fabregas is an amazing passer. He has vision, patience, intelligence and accuracy. He would be the new backbone of the United midfield, and he would improve upon what was already a deadly attack this past year.
While some of the shine appears to have faded off Fabregas during his stay with Barcelona, it was not that long ago he was turning the EPL on its ear. A return to the league with a defined role in front of him would see him go back to being the dominant player we all know he can be.
This would be a great move for both involved parties.
