Manchester City vs. Wigan: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
Manchester City weren't able to defend their Premier League title but can still end the season on a high note by winning the FA Cup. City's opponents, Wigan Athletic, are still fighting for relegation safety, and an upset at Wembley would provide a late momentum boost.
There are no excuses available for City in the final. They are the far stronger side and have already secured a Champions League berth. It makes Saturday's match the last important one of the campaign. Anything less than full effort is unacceptable.
Wigan reached the final through a combination of elevated form and some draw luck, as Everton were the only top-flight opponent they were force to face along the way. Now, they are going to need their best performance of the season in order to lift the trophy.

The season hasn't gone exactly according to plan for either side. Winning the FA Cup would at least give them something to show for the past 10 months. Let's check out the viewing information for the final, along with some players to keep an eye on and a match prediction.
Where: Wembley Stadium in London, England
When: Saturday, May 11 at 12:15 p.m. ET
Watch: Fox and Fox Deportes
Live Stream: Fox Soccer 2Go
Manchester City Player to Watch: Carlos Tevez
Tevez struck an 83rd-minute winner when these clubs faced off in Premier League action last month. Although City hopes similar heroics won't be necessary this time around, the in-form Argentine international will be ready to provide them.
The veteran striker has scored eight goals in his last 13 appearances across all competitions. But the most impressive part of the campaign is his improvement as a playmaker. Known for his goal-scoring ability, he's excelled in a more well-rounded role with 14 assists in league play.
City need him to lead the offensive charge in the FA Cup final. He must push forward early while using David Silva and Samir Nasri on the wings to stretch the Wigan back line. If he can score or create an early goal, City could very well run away with the match.
Wigan Athletic Player to Watch: Arouna Kone
Wigan have relied on a committee approach to attack. They don't have a singular star to carry the offense. But when they do need a goal, they often look to Kone—who leads the club with 11 league goals and added a couple more in Cup play.
Like Tevez, he's a veteran who's been through several key matches throughout his career. So the stage shouldn't be too big for him. It all comes down the executing the game plan against City, which didn't happen in last month's league defeat.
The Latics have very little to lose in the final because they weren't expected to reach this point. It means they can afford to take some chances to create offense. If a couple players, including Kone, rise to the occasion, an upset definitely isn't out of the question.
Matchup to Watch: City attack vs. Wigan back line
The City attack hasn't been as explosive as it was en route to the EPL title last season. That said, it still features plenty of talent who are going to put immense pressure on the Wigan defense—Tevez and Edin Dzeko being the most notable pieces.
It's a worrisome matchup for Wigan. They have allowed nine goals over the past four matches. Not exactly the form a club wants from its back line heading into the FA Cup final. A much better showing will be needed on Saturday.
Ultimately, it should be an entertaining match with plenty of chances for both sides. In the end, City are the better side and should find a way to earn the victory. Wigan's back line just hasn't been reliable enough to count on in a big match.
Prediction
Manchester City 3, Wigan Athletic 2
