Masters TV Coverage 2013: CBS Times for Second Round
The 2013 PGA Tour golf season is officially in full swing as the Masters is here. Despite the fact that the Masters may be golf's marquee event, it can be difficult to find the action on television, but you've come to right place if you intend to watch Friday's second round.
While the final round usually gets most of the attention from fringe golf fans and even the diehards, there is no doubt that the second round is extremely important. There tend to be quite a few flukes near the top of the leaderboard once the first round comes to an end, but the field really starts to sort itself out on the second day of the tourney.
Here is all the information you need to know for when and where to view the second round of the Masters on Friday, including coverage on CBS, ESPN and related channels.
Second Round Television Schedule
11 a.m. ET - 1 p.m. ET: Live Masters On the Range (CBS Sports Network)
3 p.m. ET - 7:30 p.m. ET: Live Second Round Coverage (ESPN)
8 p.m. ET - 11 p.m. ET: Replay of Second Road Coverage (ESPN)

Top Players to Watch in Second Round
Not surprisingly, Tiger Woods currently has himself in striking position at the Masters, so he is definitely somebody who is worth keeping an eye on in the second round and beyond. Woods has had a dominant year thus far with three victories, but he has been unable to break through at a major since his memorable U.S. Open win in 2008. Woods is easily playing his best golf since his knee injury and highly-publicized marital issues, so he is a fairly heavy favorite to prevail.
There are no guarantees in golf as so many guys are playing at a high level right now, but Woods is definitely among the top contenders. Woods hasn't peaked yet in this tournament, but that may be for the best as he had a penchant for storming out to the lead early in majors last year before ultimately fading. Woods will definitely want to get near the top of the leaderboard in the second round and there is no reason to think he won't.
Marc Leishman
There are a handful of surprising names near the top of the Masters leaderboard after one round, but the most shocking is certainly Marc Leishman. The Aussie is currently in first after a first-round 66, which puts him six strokes under par. Leishman went on a tear on the back nine as he sunk four straight birdies from the 13th hole through the 16th hole. As impressive as Leishman looked, it will be very difficult for him to keep up such a torrid pace.
Not only will Leishman have to deal with any pressure he may put on himself, but with accomplished stars like Tiger Woods aiming for him, it can be argued that he's actually in a very unenviable position. Any PGA Tour player is capable of having one great round, and that is what Leishman did. Replicating a round like that is a different story, though. If Leishman continues to play at this level in the second round, then he'll really get golf fans talking.
Lee Westwood
Fans often like to talk about the best player to never win a major, and most would probably agree that Lee Westwood is at the top of that list right now. The Englishman is among the best players in the world, but he has never been able to break through on the big stage. Westwood finished second to Phil Mickelson in the Masters back in 2010, but he is hoping to take the next step in 2013 by finally wearing the green jacket.
Westwood didn't blow anyone away with his first-round showing like Marc Leishman, but he played very steady golf and is absolutely in the mix. Westwood's Achilles' heel seems to be the final round of majors, so we may not find out his true state of mind until Sunday. Provided Westwood is able to continue his strong play on Friday, though, he will put himself in great position to make a run this weekend.
