Masters Odds 2013: Locating Top Bets on Day 1
While the Masters can't be won in 18 holes, it can certainly be lost with a poor performance on Day 1.
On Thursday, Tiger Woods and the rest of the tournament field will tee off in Round 1. Woods is the odds-on favorite to win his fifth green jacket this April, but isn't the only threat to claim the year's first major, as past winners including Bubba Watson and Phil Mickelson will be gunning for golf's top honor.
Below we'll highlight the top bets on Day 1 at Augusta National Golf Club.

Tiger Woods, 3/1 Odds
There isn't a hotter golfer on the planet than Tiger Woods coming into Thursday, and that's why the four-time Masters champion is sure to be a top bet in Round 1.
At the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, Tiger shot a three-under 69 in the first round. And before that, Woods posted a strong six-under 66 in the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.
Woods looks to be incredibly comfortable both physically and mentally. Everything is clicking right now and his confidence is sky high. While that could change in a hurry, for now Tiger has to be the top bet on Day 1.
When Tiger wins tournaments it's almost always because he gets off to a hot start and never looks back. Based on his past few performances, it's looking like this will be the weekend his five-year-long major drought ends.
Keegan Bradley, 25/1 Odds
Although he's one of the more inexperienced golfers set to tee off at Augusta National this spring, 26-year-old Keegan Bradley has already won a major tournament and has been playing his best golf over the past month or so.
Bradley recorded four top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour in the month of March, including a third-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
He finished tied for 27th at the 2012 Masters, his first ever attempt at a green jacket. That said, you can expect a much better effort from Bradley early on in his second career appearance at the year's first major.
Bradley's inexperience could prove to be a liability in the later rounds as the pressure amps up, but in Thursday's first round his talent should set him apart from the pack.
Dustin Johnson, 25/1 Odds
American Dustin Johnson didn't play the Masters last year and hasn't had a ton of success at Augusta over the years, but considering how strong he's been on Tour as of late, it's safe to say he'll prove himself as a top bet on Day 1.
Johnson has come out hot at his last three tournaments, including shooting a three-under 69 to open things up at the Shell Houston Open two weeks ago.
Before then, Johnson shot a four-under 68 in Round 1 of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral and a six-under 66 to start the Honda Classic at PGA National.
Johnson's best finish at the Masters came in 2009 when he finished tied for 30th, but the 28-year-old world No. 19 has momentum on his side as he gets set to tee off in 2013.
