March Madness 2013 TV Schedule: Viewing Guide for Thursday's Sweet 16 Action
The Sweet 16 is set to kick off this Thursday night.
It's going to be very difficult for the NCAA tournament to top the action fans have already witnessed in the first three rounds.
You have a No. 15 seed—the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles—in the Sweet 16 for the first time ever. Then there's the dominance of the 12th-seeded Oregon Ducks. Not to mention how the Wichita State Shockers upset the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs.

A Look at Thursday's Games
No. 2 Miami Hurricanes vs. No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles, 7:15 p.m. ET
Many doubted the status of the Miami Hurricanes. They weren't good enough to warrant a No. 1 seed and didn't look strong enough to make a Final Four run. Many of the Hurricanes' offensive problems were evident against the Illinois Fighting Illini. They had a hard time knocking down shots and were especially bad from three-point range.
Luckily for them, Marquette isn't a strong team offensively, either. Plus, the Golden Eagles have looked far from convincing, only winning their two games by a combined three points.
Miami's strength in defense has never been in question. The Canes should be able to cut off Vander Blue and thus eliminate Marquette's best scoring option.
No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. No. 6 Arizona Wildcats, 7:47 p.m. ET
Thanks to some major upsets, the West Region has been blown up. The winner of this game has a great chance to make the Final Four thanks to the competition having been eliminated already.
Arizona has looked very strong up to this point, having won its first two games by a total of 40 points. The Wildcats didn't take the Harvard Crimson lightly, completely dominating them from the outset.
Ohio State has had a slightly tougher, albeit not extremely difficult, route. It took an Aaron Craft three-pointer at the buzzer to eliminate the Iowa State Cyclones. The Buckeyes have had to keep pace with extremely quick, high-tempo teams in their previous two games.
They should be thankful the Wildcats don't push the ball up the floor on every possession. With the game slowed down, Ohio State will be much more in its element.
No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers vs. No. 4 Syracuse Orange, 9:45 p.m. ET
It took a strong second-half performance for Indiana to get past the Temple Owls in the round of 32. Once again, the Hoosiers struggled from three-point range despite it being one of their biggest strengths during the regular season. If they have trouble again, Syracuse will make them pay.
The Orange looked great in their first game and did well to overcome what was a partisan crowd in their win over the Cal Golden Bears.
Cody Zeller has done well in the tournament so far, but he's yet to really establish himself. Syracuse ranks second in rebounding, so Zeller will have his work cut out for him.
No. 9 Wichita State Shockers vs. No. 13 La Salle Explorers, 10:17 p.m. ET
It's the game that undoubtedly helped to ruin your bracket. To the five people who accurately predicted this matchup, congratulations. It's going to be fun seeing either of these teams in the Elite Eight.
Wichita State did a great job suffocating the Bulldogs. Kelly Olynyk and Kevin Pangos really struggled to get going. The Shockers also managed to shoot 50.0 percent from the field in their 76-70 upset of the top seed in the region.
They'll need a similar defensive performance against La Salle. Tyreek Duren and Ramon Galloway have been stellar in the Explorers' first two wins.
