NCAA Tournament 2013 Bracket: Biggest Stars to Watch in Friday's Action
While the NCAA tournament is often remembered for big upsets, individual performances can go down in history.
There's Bryce Drew's three-pointer at the buzzer to give Valparaiso a 70-69 win in the first round in 1998. And Christian Laettner's shot in the 1992 tournament will forever symbolize his wildly successful college career. Danny Manning almost single-handedly won a title for the Kansas Jayhawks in 1988.
This year, Ben McLemore has the chance to make what could be his only college season really count. McLemore is one of the most talented players in the country, although he only averaged 16.4 points a game.

With the Kansas Jayhawks occupying the top seed in the South region, he will have plenty of opportunity to display his skills. McLemore was efficient offensively, shooting 50.7 percent from the field and 43.7 from three-point range.
Along with McLemore, here are three players set to shine on Friday.
Marshall Henderson, Ole Miss Rebels
Whether you love him or hate him, you can't deny Marshall Henderson is a good basketball player. He is inefficient, only shooting 38.5 percent from the field while taking many poor shots. But when Henderson does get his shot to fall, he's dangerous.
His performance against the Florida Gators in the SEC tournament is the perfect example of what Henderson can do. He was dreadful in the first half but managed to hit key three-pointers in the second to spur the Ole Miss Rebels to a big upset.
Win or lose, Henderson's antics on the court make any Ole Miss game must-watch television in the NCAA tournament.
Cody Zeller, Indiana Hoosiers
Victor Oladipo gets the majority of the plaudits in regard to the Indiana Hoosiers. It's Cody Zeller, though, who will make the biggest difference, if Indiana makes a deep run.
Zeller's post play will be vital the longer the Hoosiers stay in the tournament. Few teams have post players as skilled as Zeller. When he's on, nobody in the country can stop him.
He can also open up the perimeter for skilled shooters such as Oladipo and Jordan Hulls. When Zeller gets going, defenses will try and collapse on him, thus leaving smaller players open on the outside.
Shane Larkin, Miami Hurricanes
Many are quick to discount the Miami Hurricanes as a favorite to make the Final Four. The Hurricanes had a good defense but did not score a ton of points. Miami is only averaging 69.9 points a game.
Shane Larkin needs to provide the offensive spark for the Hurricanes. He had a good showing in the ACC tournament, scoring 20-plus points in all three games.
If Larkin struggles, it's going to be hard for Miami to cover up his production. Larkin is the best shooter on the team, so having him knock down shots will be important, should the Hurricanes desire to prove all the haters wrong.
