The 5 Most Interesting Women in WWE
The WWE has had a long-running love/hate relationship with women.
At various times the women have flourished, becoming as entertaining as the men. The women who wrestled during the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression Eras were among the most talented to ever step in a ring.
Even before that the fans were given Fabulous Moolah and Alundra Blayze in the ring, and Sherri Martel and Miss Elizabeth outside the ring.
Today's roster of women may not always be the most talented, but a few stand out. Those who can tell a story, hold the fans' interest or make them mad.
Listed in no particular order, here are the five most interesting women in the WWE today.
Kaitlyn
1 of 5Kaitlyn has quickly become a powerhouse contender and competitor in the WWE Divas division.
Formerly on the third season of NXT, she won the all-female edition of the show, even having Vickie Guerrero as her WWE Pro.
Kaitlyn has spent a good amount of time feeling the effects of the AJ Lee meltdown, being slapped by her former best friend on different occasions. Her backstage attack at Night of Champions eventually led to an interesting revenge storyline.
Despite not winning the Divas title in her feud with Eve Torres, Kaitlyn has managed to stay at or near the top of the pack. Her background in bodybuilding gives her the ability to pull of moves that none of the other Divas can.
Eventually she’ll have a title around her waist.
Eve Torres
2 of 5The former spirit team dancer for the Los Angeles Clippers, Diva Search winner and current WWE Divas champion continues to turn heads and keep people talking.
Eve Torres is both beautiful and smart. WWE.com notes that she holds a degree in industrial and systems engineering. On top of that, she knows how to make an impact.
She shared an on-screen relationship with Zack Ryder, before ripping his heart out on national television by hooking up with John Cena.
She briefly worked for John Laurinaitis before scheming and working her way to becoming assistant to the general manager on SmackDown.
Torres had Kaitlyn attacked backstage at Night of Champions, then stepped in to her spot and defeated Layla for her third Divas title.
To top it off, she won the NBC show "Stars Earn Stripes."
Inside and outside the ring, as well as outside the WWE altogether, Torres knows how to keep herself on the minds and lips of the WWE Universe.
Paige

The self-proclaimed anti-Diva started wrestling in 2006 in the World Association of Wrestling, before moving on to the all-female Pro-Wrestling EVE, where she won the company's championship.
Paige was briefly in Shimmer Women Athletes in 2011 before signing with the WWE. A short stint in FCW saw her compete for the FCW Divas championship, which she did not win.
Since being on NXT, she has fought and defeated Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn.
Her profile on Twitter says, "Don't piss me off. Wrestling isn't JUST a passion, it's my future."
Wait until she steps onto the main stage.
Vickie Guerrero
4 of 5Excuse me?
Vickie Guerrero is proof you don't need to be popular to be interesting.
The woman with the annoying voice is one of the most over women in the WWE. All she has to do is open her mouth and say her catchphrase, or even just walk out of the curtain, and the arena will drown her in boos.
She draws heat and attention, which is why she has been appearing with the company since 2005.
She first appeared during Eddie Guerrero's feud with Rey Mysterio, where she eventually cost her real-life husband a ladder match.
After Eddie's death, she became more of fixture on WWE television. She's had an on-air relationship with Edge, has been the general manager of both Raw and SmackDown and has been stuck by Dolph Ziggler's side since 2010.
She gets booed every time she's on TV, even in backstage skits. It doesn't seem to faze her.
It's that overwhelming hate which makes her so much fun to watch in the ring.
AJ Lee
5 of 5Knocking John Cena off the ladder in his match with Dolph Ziggler at TLC is only the latest thing about AJ Lee that keeps people talking about her.
Lee signed with the WWE in 2009 after wrestling on the independent scene as Miss April. An interview with Esquire.com mentions that she took the name after enrolling and graduating from a wrestling school a few blocks from where she lived.
After signing, she went to Florida Championship Wrestling, where she won the Queen of FCW title. (Onlineworldofwrestling.com)
In May 2011, she made her main roster debut in a tag team with Kaitlyn.
Then things got interesting.
She got involved romantically with Daniel Bryan. The Big Show injured her. She cost Bryan the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 28. She lost her mind and began to pursue Kane and CM Punk romantically.
She became the general manager of Raw before losing that position because of an affair with Cena. She feuded with Vickie Guerrero and Tamina Snuka.
At TLC she turned her back on the fans and Cena by knocking him off the ladder at TLC. She kissed and aligned herself with Dolph Ziggler on Raw.
In her year-and-a-half with the WWE's main roster, Lee has had more twists and turns than most superstars get in a whole career.
