Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That is the best trade for all involved, but the winning sticking point is Eric Mangini. After being fired will he want to help his old employer? The answer is no, but this trade will help the Browns too.
It will open up cap room and give the Browns a high pick to grab an offensive playmaker or defensive lineman after grabbing Malcolm Jenkins with their other pick.
The Jets get a face-of-the franchise QB who can throw anywhere and is the perfect QB to throw to their young fast receivers deep.
They have a tough schedule so nothing is coming easy this year, but the team's only need is QB. The Jets will be a .500 team with the QB's they have now under center and Cutler could get them to maybe 11-5 and a wildcard.
The Broncos get a QB that can play and lead the franchise as well as a draft pick. He isn't Cutler, but the overly-confident Josh McDaniels thinks he can lead anyone and Anderson is a solid player.
Cutler will be gone, but where else in the league can they get a QB of Anderson' s ability now? Mark Sanchez will be there at No. 12 in the draft, but I don't think they want another rookie.
At the end of the day, the trade makes too much sense for these teams not to do it. All three teams would be better today and in the future and isn't that what they should always be trying to do?
