McJaygate the Big Buzz Of League Meetings
According to the Denver Post, the dispute between disgruntled Broncos' quarterback Jay Cutler, and newly-appointed head coach Josh McDaniels is "the conversation topic in the hotel lobby."
When the Post interviewed long-time NFL figure, John Madden, he made it seem like the problem was not that bad.
"Where is the meat on this bone? A lot of times, it's a guy coming off injury. There's age. There's free agency. There's a contract. But this one seems to be about feelings. And that's the easiest thing to fix. I'm surprised it got this far." said Madden, who is in the Hall of Fame as a coach, has the No. 1 football game franchise named after him, and has been commentating for many years.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Madden is not the only one to wonder, as many in Broncos' Country are thinking and asking the same thing.
How could something so small morph into a problem so large? But, a problem it is, and it needs a solution, something Madden explains as straightforward.
"You should never get into this type of mess with your best player," described Madden. "Maybe the player knows it, but is Cutler being a baby? I don't know, but here's your player. It's a simple thing. Fix it."
Perhaps Madden should take his expertise in player-coach relations and help the Broncos out. On the other hand, what former Raider, this side of Bill Romanowski, is willing to do that? Orange and blue just don't mix with silver and black.
I suggest the Broncos hire a communications expert, a service a Communications Studies major would be perfect for. The communications expert's job responsibilities include weekly meetings with the whole team, and bi-weekly meetings with just McDaniels and Cutler.
The communications expert would teach simple lessons such as "Interpersonal Communication," which teaches easy ways to communicate more effectively on a personal level.
Interpersonal Communication includes lessons on power differentials, relating to one another, and nexting, a concept that allows either communicator to push the conversation in a new direction, or to another topic.
Other lessons would include explanations of "Non-verbal Communication," otherwise known as body language, "Co-Cultural Communication," which teaches the student how to communicate with people of other cultures, and "Group Communication," or communicating efficiently in a group of co-workers.
Mr. Bowlen, please consider these suggestions and hire me, Rich Kurtzman, as the communications expert for Dove Valley. Let's work together, get this mess resolved, and move forward with the coach, and quarterback you want.
If you do so, this situation may be simple to fix, as Madden suggested. If not, who knows how long the two will be at odds?
