TNA Bound for Glory Results 2012: Joey Ryan's Contract Tainted by Blueprint
Joey Ryan is officially a TNA wrestler. In the league's biggest event, Ryan was able to defeat Al Snow at TNA Bound for Glory 2012, but his win is completely tainted by the final result.
After an early beatdown from Snow, Ryan brought sleazy back to the ring and TNA by using a fortuitous attack from Blueprint on Snow.
After trapping Ryan in between the banner and the side of the ring, Snow went toward the announcer booth before Blueprint came around from the side and sent Snow into an unconscious state.
After realizing his opponent was out cold, and his contract was within grasp, Ryan pinned Snow on the first try in front of the Arizona crowd.
Although it's a big win for Ryan after all of the buildup and promotion between the two, it's certainly one that comes with an asterisk.
But that doesn't change Ryan heading back to TNA with a full-time gig. Love him or hate him, this guy is a member of Impact wrestling for the foreseeable future.
You can't help but think Ryan is the new villain on the roster, even with "the 87 percent" behind him and kicking:
"The #87percent were right. #TNABFG

Ryan made sure Twitter realized he won the match almost immediately after heading to the dressing room, despite only dispatching the agent, Snow, and doing so with help from a potential new ally on the roster.
After the match was over, Ryan grabbed Matt Morgan's leg while on his knees, thanking him for the support. He and Morgan then shook hands, taking the camera to tell Hulk Hogan and the fans that he was here to take out every wrestler on the roster.
After watching that fight and then seeing Ryan's statement to the camera, you'd have to presume that Ryan is headed for a role with TNA that includes some sketchy victories over better opponents.
With all the flash and sleaziness that he brings to the ring, Ryan can be a fan-favorite. TNA boosters and supporters will capitalize on his popularity, but if he continues to receive help against better wrestlers, you can bet fans will begin to notice.
