Arsenal Striker Nicklas Bendtner Out to Prove Point Against Yoosof Farah
In a recent debate, part of the reason why I said Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou is a better player than Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner is because the Big Dane seems to be so wasteful infront of goal.
In last December's Carling Cup quarter-final, the Gunners succumbed to a 2-0 away defeat at the hands of Coca Cola League Championship side Burnley at Turf Moor.
In this game the Denmark international did nothing to help his image, missing numerous clear-cut goalscoring opportunities, allowing the home team to progress to the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.

Having been through my daily search of Skysports.com to see what is happening in the sporting world, I came across an article about Nicklas Bendtner which fits in perfectly with my debate.
Clearly the Danish lump must've been reading Bleacher Report, because he seems intent on proving his critics (an avid critic of this man is me, Yoosof Farah) wrong and making amends for some awful mistakes four months ago.
Arsenal are once again taking on the Clarets; this time at the Emirates Stadium, and in an unusually late FA Cup (sponsored by E.On don't forget) fifth round tie.
Chelsea are through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 over Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena, and Manchester United will try to book their place at Wembley when they take on fellow Premier League side Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Now Nicklas Bendtner and co. will try to push Arsenal closer to Wembley when they take on Burnley tomorrow (Sunday), and the Danish striker wants to erase the memories of their previous encounter.
"What happened in the League Cup against Burnley was bad. I was very disappointed with myself after that game," said the Danish lump.
"I had three clear chances—from which I should have scored two, if not three." Well done for stating the obvious.
"When your finishing is not as good as it should be, it annoys you—especially when we have six or seven one-on-ones and don't score any of them.
"But it will be a new game, and if we get the same chances I am sure we will put them in this time."
Salomon Kalou failed to score for Chelsea and looked fairly unimpressive earlier on Saturday in the Blues 2-0 victory.
After scoring twice against West Bromwich Albion—including an absolute beauty of a strike—Nicklas Bendtner now has another opportunity to prove Yoosof Farah wrong and show the Gillingham Slumdog exactly the sort of player he can truly be.
For my sake, let's hope the Big Dane fails to make an impact tomorrow, otherwise Farah could really end up with egg on his face.
