Ronda Rousey OK with Sex Before Fights

While the MMA world argues over TRT therapy, Ronda Rousey wouldn't mind engaging in a little pre-fight sex therapy.

The Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion was recently a guest on Conan to promote her upcoming title fight with Sarah Kaufman.

The conversation took an interesting turn when host Conan O'Brien asked for Rousey's opinion on having sex before a big fight.

To preserve testosterone, many male athletes practice abstinence from sex prior to any major competition.

What about women? Would a guy have a shot at getting a little pre-fight action from Rousey, or would he get shut down and possibly armbarred before even making it to first base?

As always, Rousey didn't shy away from giving her opinion, despite the personal nature of the topic.

It's the opposite for women. If you have sex, it raises your testosterone. So, it kind of sucks I don't have a boyfriend right now, but I'm sure my Twitter is blowing up with offers at the moment. It's almost like we're taking it out of them or something. I don't know the exact science behind it, but maybe it was a pickup line or something I heard before. Who knows?

As a world-class athlete and beautiful ambassador of the sport, Rousey shouldn't have any trouble finding a boyfriend. You would be hard-pressed to actually believe she needs one.

After capturing a bronze medal in Judo at the 2008 Olympic games, Rousey has gone on to dominate the world of MMA. None of her fights have even made it out of the first round.

In March, Rousey climbed into the mainstream spotlight after defeating Miesha Tate for the Strikeforce title. Her first title defense is slated for August 18 against former champ Kaufman.

Until then, Rousey could be busy entertaining tons of Twitter offers to help out with her "training."
