Olympic Swimming Schedule 2012: Dates and Times to See Sport's Top Stars
The American women have really out-shined the disappointing men's swimming team. Michael Phelps has taken a back seat to Ryan Lochte, who has been disappointing himself.
He did capture the 400-meter individual medley on Day 1, but swam a lackluster final leg in the 4x100 relay.
Missy Franklin has been a bright spot thus far. She won gold in the 100-meter breaststroke. She also helped the United States earn a bronze medal in the 4x100 freestyle
She's accomplished a lot, but she still has more opportunities to add to her medal count. Here are the other events Franklin will compete in:
- 100-meter freestyle - Wednesday, 5:00 a.m. ET and Thursday (pending advancement)
- 200-meter backstroke - Thursday, 6:31 a.m. ET and Friday (pending advancement)

Michael Phelps
The biggest star in the history of the sport hasn't yet found gold in London but he still has several chances to stand on the podium.. Many speculated that the torch had been passed from Phelps to Lochte, but Phelps may still be America's best swimmer.
