Jordyn Wieber: USA

As the reigning world all-around champion, Wieber will have a ton of pressure on her to fulfill expectations of gold in the 2012 Summer Games.

The 17-year-old is making her Olympic debut in London this year, but that shouldn't be a problem as Wieber has always risen to the occasion in any event that she has debuted in as evidenced by her success in Tokyo.

As a great all-around gymnast, there's no doubt Wieber will have a great shot at a gold medal in London, whether as a member of Team USA or in an individual event.

Viktoria Komova: Russia

Injured ankle and all, Komova finished with the silver medal at the 2011 World Championships, barely missing out on the all-around gold to the American, Wieber. Had she been healthy, there's no telling how much better Komova would have been.

In the same 2011 Worlds, Komova struck gold on the uneven bars. Her abilities in that specific event are unmatched by any gymnast she will compete against in the London Games. In all, Komova took home three medals at the 2011 Worlds.

Now that she's healthy, Komova will undoubtedly be the stiffest competition to the Americans and every other major competitor in women's gymnastics for that matter.

Yao Jinnan: China

Yao also debuted at the 2011 Worlds and certainly turned heads with her impressive performance.

The 17-year-old took the bronze in the all-around behind Wieber and Komova. Less than eight-tenths of a point separated Yao from gold and a fall off the balance beam proved to be the difference.

On top of that, Yao also won the silver medal for her work on the balance beam at the 2011 Worlds, finishing second behind her fellow teammate.

With more experience under her belt and mistakes to learn from, Yao should be ready to take that next step to the top of the gymnastics world.
