10 Stars That Will Not Be at the 1,000th Episode of Raw
The WWE has seen its share of stars come and go.
Some wrestlers left on their own accord, while others were shown the door. Either way, only a select few really left a gap in the WWE roster that will never be filled.
Many of these past stars will be able to come back for this special edition of Raw. Meanwhile, others can't due to other obligations or past history with the company.
In the end, they all helped get the WWE's flagship show to this point and should be honored or at least mentioned in a video montage.
That being said, here are 10 stars that are 100 percent not going to be at the 1,000th episode of Raw.
Kurt Angle
1 of 10The Olympic Gold Medalist had the most successful first year of any WWE star.
Not to mention, his theme song is probably the most popular ever as fans interacted with "You Suck" chants during his entrance.
Overall, Angle was one of the most intense and entertaining stars the WWE had.
If it weren't for his current status with TNA, I am sure he would come back for this show.
Ric Flair
2 of 10Ric Flair is one of, if not the biggest name in wrestling.
He was a huge part of Raw for most of the 2000s and helped launch the careers of several young stars.
Currently, TNA and the WWE are heavily involved in a legal battle over talent acquisitions. So, until this ends, Flair will not be on WWE TV.
Jeff Hardy
3 of 10Jeff Hardy's WWE career was huge.
Hardy not only held just about every WWE title, but he made a mark that will never be duplicated.
The former member of "Team Extreme" was a trailblazer and took risks that most men or women wouldn't.
To this day, his high-flying antics are revered by fans. However, those fans happen to be TNA fans.
Hardy, departed the WWE in 2009 under questionable circumstances, then cut a deal with TNA in 2010 and has been there ever since.
RVD
4 of 10"The Whole F'n Show", was a Raw staple for several years.
In fact, prior to his departure he became the first and only man to hold both the WWE and ECW titles.
Then much like Angle and Hardy, RVD saw an opportunity with TNA and has been there since 2010.
The Dudley's
5 of 10The Dudley's may be the best tag team ever.
They have an unbelievable track record, by holding tag-titles everywhere they went. They not only found success in the WWE but had one of the greatest tag matches ever against The Hardyz and Edge and Christian.
The match in question was WWE's first tables, ladders and chairs match. The match proved to be so popular, that it eventually became a pay-per-view.
Ultimately, The Dudley's have called TNA home since 2005 and most recently have found success as solo wrestlers.
Lita
6 of 10Lita was one of the most controversial Diva's ever.
She not only caused a stir on-air, but backstage as well as she infamously cheated on Matt Hardy with Edge.
Luckily for us, the WWE allowed that story to play out on TV and fans got to witness not only great promos but matches between Edge and Hardy.
In the end, Lita was one of the best Diva's in WWE history and should be in attendance. However, with the current state of the Diva's division, this appearance probably won't happen.
Chyna
7 of 10Chyna was a trailblazer. Not only was she a multiple time Women's champ, but the first and only female to hold the Intercontinental title.
It's safe to say that she broke the mold on what women's wrestlers should look like and how they should act.
This statement, would prove successful for "The Ninth Wonder of the World" as she found herself involved in several major storylines with many main event stars.
Ultimately, Chyna and the WWE parted ways in 2002 and the two parties have never seen eye to eye since. As we all know, Triple H and Chyna were a couple in real life.
That was until the McMahon-Helmsley storyline began and Stephanie and Triple H began an affair both on and off screen.
In the end, Chyna was released and has failed to gain the same success as she had in the past. Sadly, she is battling her own demons and chances are the WWE still wants nothing to do with her.
Shane McMahon
8 of 10Shane-O Mac definitely left his mark on Raw, as he was not only the European champion, but involved in the biggest storyline in Raw's history.
In 2001, WCW was bought out by the WWE and during a simulcast, Shane became the first WWE star to step in the newly purchased WCW ring.
In the end, McMahon was a solid part of Raw's rich history and should be there.
Goldberg
9 of 10Goldberg was a huge part of the Monday Night Wars.
And, even though he started his career with WCW, he was able to make some memorable moments on Raw after WCW fell to the wayside.
Yes, he has his critics, but he also has fans and when one asked if he would be attending Raw 1,000, he replied:
"
""No offense,I don't just SHOW UP on Raw. As fans I hope you can understand. Now I must Jackhammer this thing sitting next to me on the plane
— Bill Goldberg (@Goldberg) July 17, 2012"
Needless to say, if you want to Goldberg's presence you will have rent or buy some old WCW videos.
Scott Hall
10 of 10Scott Hall played a huge part in Raw's success in the 90s.
His feud with Shawn Michaels was not only well-documented in pay-per-views, but several episodes of Raw.
Hall was so popular, that when he left, the WWE felt a need to replace his Razor Ramon persona and give it to someone else.
Needless to say, fans were anything but happy about this and "Fake" Razor Ramon was scrapped.
Ultimately, Hall's WWE tenure was not only memorable but successful.
