Pair of Patriots Following McDaniels to Denver?
Josh McDaniels may not be the only former New England Patriot heading to the Mile High City.
Free agent safety James Sanders and defensive end Mike Wright are likely candidates to head to Denver for the opportunity to start full time in the NFL.
Sanders is entering his fifth season in the league, and has started every game he has played the last two seasons. He has played extremely well in the absence of future Hall of Fame player Rodney Harrison, and has warranted a starting job with whatever team he ends up going to.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At only 25-years-old, Sanders figures to have his best days of football far ahead of him, and the Broncos need a playmaker at free safety. Sanders stands 5'10" 210 pounds, and is one of the hardest workers in the game.
Wright is a defensive end entering his fifth season in the league also, and has been a key reserve for New England in his time with the team.
At 6'4" 295, he is the ideal size for a 3-4 down defensive end, and would provide the Broncos with a good young player to build the defensive line with.
Additionally, the Broncos may be interested in San Diego Chargers free agent defensive end Igor Olshansky. Olshansky spent the last four seasons with the Chargers being coached by Wayne Nunnely, who now coaches the Denver Broncos' defensive line.
The Broncos are expected to part ways with cornerback Dre' Bly by the time free agency begins, and could be looking to a former St. Louis Ram for his replacement in the starting lineup.
Rams free agent cornerback Ronald Bartell Jr.is a big, physical cornerback who has been steadily improving in the last couple of years.
I'll bring more free agent updates as the week goes on, so stay tuned!
