Neither fighters looked great.

It was a competitive fight, but Guimares essentially won the fight because of his grunting at the end of the third round. Stittgen will most likely receive his walking papers from the UFC and Guimares will get another preliminary fight to see if he can improve on the lackluster performance.

Natal looked good early on. Quick, landing hard leg kicks and never being in any danger from Craig. The second round was one of the year's best.

Craig's overall performance was not fantastic, but he picked up the victory which is all the matters. Both men won't be skyrocketing up the middleweight division anytime soon, but can provide interesting match-ups along the way.

Cariaso looked fantastic. He found a home for his lead left repeatedly, was able to out-grapple Ferguson, and when he did find himself in a dangerous position, he was able to defend. Flyweight seems like it will serve him very well and he can most definitely be a threat at 125-pounds. The drop in weight suddenly opens up many possibilities for Cariaso.

The loss likely sends Page to the bread line. Caceres continues to improve and blossom in to an exciting fighter in the UFC's bantamweight division.

Njokuani has improved his takedown defense, but it was not enough for the improved takedown offense of Dos Anjos. The victory makes the second straight for the Brazilian.

With another dimension added to his arsenal Dos Anjos will make for a tough out against anyone in the lightweight division. We have seen power striking and jiu-jitsu from Dos Anjos in the past, but the improved wrestling gives him another tool to work with as he moves forward.

Francis Carmont continues to impress. When Vemola caught him in chokes he remained calm and waited until he could pop his head out. The grappling exchange to finish the fight was top notch work.

Looking forward Carmont could be a force to be reckoned with in the middleweight division. He continues to improve his game at Tri Star in Montreal with training partner Georges St. Pierre. Being able to stuff takedowns from Vemola and implement his game was impressive. His third straight in the Octagon should place him on a bigger card for his next outing.

The fight was not exciting, but it was what Simpson needed in his welterweight debut. A victory. Also, it pushed his cardio in his first welterweight fight. Knowing he went 15 minutes in his debut at 170 should give him confidence moving forward in the division. Unfortunately, he is no spring chicken.

If Simpson is going to make any sort of run at welterweight he needs to take a serious jump in competition soon.

Beltran is a fun fighter to watch, if you enjoy brain damage. Being repeatedly abused like he was tonight is not what should be cheered. 226 significant strikes landed is a light heavyweight record for a fight.

Te Huna had a solid outing, but it was nothing special. Beltran is a tough out but any potential contender should have put the fight away. Te Huna's takedowns were not pretty and need a lot of work. He has a long way to go if he wants to challenge anyone of worth in the 205-pound division.

Weidman made a statement. He is the future of the division. The case can be made for his title shot to happen next. Complete domination by the young gun of the middleweight division. It was not even close. Should he earn a shot at Anderson Silva he poses a few distinct issues for the champion. But he may still be one fight away depending on the direction the UFC takes.
