Oleh Blokhin Outburst
8 of 9Ukraine manager Oleh Blokhin is always good for a quote. Tuesday was no exception.
After his Ukraine team lost 1-0 to England and crashed out of Euro 2012, Blokhin exploded on a reporter in the postgame press conference.
According to BBC Sport, Blokhin challenged the reporter to "go outside and have a man conversation."
"You should respect that I played football. Did you play football? Respect my job and me. I won't allow anyone to criticise my team, about [Oleh] Gusev or [Andriy] Shevchenko. If you're a man, go with me. One on one.
"
That would be quite the sight.
Wayne Rooney No Speak English?
9 of 9Finally, former England manager Fabio Capello has revealed a possible explanation for his difficulty communicating with English players.
Wayne Rooney, it seems, doesn't speak the language.
From the Daily Telegraph:
"Look, when I spoke they did understand me. But every now and then, when I tried to explain tactics, things didn't work out.
You know what? Maybe it's because Rooney doesn't speak English.
He doesn't understand English.
"
That would explain a lot, actually.
