The Doctor's Weekly WWE Raw Recap: The 134 Things We Learned, Loved and Hated
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to my weekly recap list. I always appreciate my loyal readers, but for those of you who are new, each week I recap Raw with a long list.
The entries are made up of equal parts observations, humor, recap, play-by-play, revelations, speculations, questions, answers and anything else I notice during the show. I sometimes comment on commercials, too, just because I get bored during them.
I try and interject some fun into these lists, so I hope you have fun reading this week's list of the 134 things we learned, loved and hated from the show.

19. Punk gets a nice pop when he comes out. He, Kane and Bryan had a great match last night.

21. Interesting—Punk is on Fallon tonight. I will have to watch for sure.
22. A recap of AJ lip-locking Kane from last week is shown after the commercial. I wonder if she will make an appearance?
23. Bryan gets a nice reaction during his entrance as well.
24. Bryan and Sheamus start out, and a "Yes" chant breaks out immediately.
25. Sheamus hits a nice tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall.
26. Punk tags in and Bryan gets the advantage with some well-placed kicks.
27. Punk has been champion for 211 days, according to Cole.
28. I think it's time he lost it. Even if he wins it back in another few months, I would still like to see some surprises.
29. Give it to Ziggler!
30. Kane comes in and keeps punishing Punk until Punk is able to fight off both men for a few seconds, which ends in Punk hitting a suicide dive on Bryan.

40. AJ is so strange. I am loving it.
41. Ziggler and Jack Swagger are arguing backstage and Vickie walks up to try and break it up.
42. Vickie says it's time for her to make a decision on who gets to keep her as a manager, and the two will have a match to find out.
43. Otunga and JL are backstage making fun of Foley when Big Show walks in.
44. JL says Cena will be done after tonight and that the fans don't deserve to have him as GM.
45. Show says he doesn't find anything funny. Well, not Knuckleheads anyways.
46. Ziggler is out first for his match, followed by a commercial.
47. Vickie must have come out during the break because Swagger is coming out when we return and she is already at ringside.
48. Swagger takes Ziggler down right away and then does some push-ups to show off.
49. Ziggler gets a single-leg takedown on Swagger and then does a strut to a big "Woo" from the audience.
50. Uh-oh. Ziggler gets tossed over Swagger and when he lands, he looks like he tweaks his knee.
51. Swagger goes right for the knee, so it was probably a planned move.
52. This allows Swagger to keep going for the leg to set up for the Ankle Lock.
53. Swagger puts a painful-looking submission on Ziggler and keeps it on for quite a while.
54. Ziggler goes for a roll-up and gets a near fall.
55. Swagger grabs Ziggler and puts him in the Ankle Lock.
56. Ziggler is in the middle of the ring trying to crawl for the ropes as the crowd chants his name.

58. Vickie comes in after the match and gives Ziggler a big kiss.
59. I am glad Ziggler won, but I wanted him to break away from Vickie. Swagger needs her services more.
60. The way Ziggler was screaming during that hold was blood curdling.
61. We go backstage to see a limo pull up before we go to commercial.
62. Paul Heyman is out after the break to a tepid reaction.
63. An ECW chant does end up breaking out after his music stops.
64. He gets a pop when he introduces himself. Where was this enthusiasm during his entrance?
65. The mention of Lesnar's name gets some heat. I guess his support in the WWE Universe is wearing thin.
66. Heyman says no to Triple H's challenge to a match at SummerSlam, which Trips made last night at No Way Out.
67. Triple H comes out to confront the man he called a "fat, balding manager" last night.
68. Heyman looks worried as Hunter circles him.
69. Hunter takes some jabs at Heyman before saying he will get his match at SummerSlam or hear Lesnar turn him down himself.
70. Triple H shows a poster of Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam and he says that he will make Lesnar a star.
71. Heyman says Lesnar has no ego and won't fall for this and Triple H laughs.
72. He says that if Lesnar refuses the match, then he will be remembered as the guy who is afraid of Triple H.
73. Heyman taunts Triple H, almost inciting another lawsuit.
74. Why does Paul Heyman remind me of Danny DeVito in one of his sleazier roles?
75. Heyman mentions Stephanie McMahon and Triple H grabs him by the shirt collar while Heyman says, "Do it!"
76. Heyman says he can see every move Hunter will make and then Triple H clocks him.
77. I think everyone saw that one coming from a mile away.
78. Triple H didn't think so, apparently.
79. Alberto Del Rio gets a match against Santino, but I don't think it is for the title.
80. Ricky Ricardo brings out Del Rio before Santino comes out.
81. Sign of the night "Santi-NO!!!"
82. Del Rio starts off with a series of kicks to Santino in the corner.
83. Del Rio hits a huge dropkick in the corner and then applies the Cross-Arm Breaker to get a very quick win over Santino.
84. Rodriguez drops Santino after the match as payback for losing the tuxedo match last night.
85. We get some flashbacks of Cyndi Lauper in WWE from the '80s.
86. I miss Lou Albano.
87. Was Lauper considered hot in her day? I was too young at the time to care about who she was and it's hard to tell with all the crazy crap she used to wear.
88. WWE just pissed me off. Why would you mention that gas cost $1.11 per gallon in 1993 when Raw debuted? I paid almost $4 the other day.
89. Layla is in the ring to bring out Wendi Richter and Cyndi Lauper to a nice reaction.
90. Lauper looks like she has aged well.
91. The crowd does not seem too into the segment once it starts, and Heath Slater coming out does not help.
92. Lauper asks him who he is and Slater gets offended.
93. She keeps interrupting him and Layla thinks it's hilarious. Me, not so much.
94. Slater is going to sing? Way to keep your viewers, WWE.
95. The crowd chants, "We want Ryder!"
96. Awesome! The bagpipes hit and Roddy Piper makes his way out to the ring.
97. As usual, Roddy charms the ladies in the ring before getting to business.
98. He calls Heath Ms. Slater.
99. Piper says the Rock 'n wrestling connection was what made WWE big.
100. Yes! Piper mentions Lou Albano and how he hit Lou with a gold record once.
101. Piper gives Lauper a gold record and says some nice things to her before they hug.
102. Slater starts singing again until Piper pokes him in the eyes, Stooges-style.
103. Lauper hits him with the gold record and Piper celebrates with the ladies as one of Lauper's songs plays.
104. Cole apologizes to everyone for a terrible segment. Until Piper got there, I would have agreed with him.
105. There is a commercial, so I figured I would mention something strange. I was playing a video game earlier and someone with the gamertag DDPYogaDad was in it with me. What are the odds of someone who is not DDP having that as their gamertag? I doubt it was him, as it would surprise me to learn he played video games, but it still strikes me as funny.
106. Abraham Washington is out after the break to bring out his new team, the Prime Time Players.
107. They are facing Epico and Primo, who get the jobber's entrance.
108. Rosa is looking amazing, as usual.
109. Titus O'Neil starts off against Epico.
110. Primo gets the tag and comes in with a head of steam against Darren Young; he almost gets the win before O'Neil breaks it up.
111. Primo hits the Back Stabber on Young, but O'Neil saves him from the pin.
112. Epico and Primo hit dual sliding dropkicks.
113. The Prime Time Players get counted out and Epico and Primo win, despite the jobber's entrance. That hasn't happened since Barry Horowitz.
114. Jericho's return is hyped for next week with some footage from his tour with Fozzy.
115. JL is in the ring when we return and he messes up, forgetting to say he is the former GM.
116. JL brings out Otunga first for the handicap match, followed by Big Show.
117. Teddy Long is on commentary for the match and he rips off his huge name tag.
118. Where the hell has Eve been lately? She's the one who gave it to him.
119. Big Show says he does not have to prove anything and therefore does not have to fight tonight.
120. Cena's music hits and he comes out to a big pop.
121. I wonder what Cena took out of his pocket and handed to a fan.
122. This is essentially a one-on-one match between Otunga and Cena now since JL is injured.
123. Cena goes right to work on Otunga.
124. Otunga tries to get a tag into JL and JL walks down the steps to avoid it.
125. Otunga avoids Cena in the corner and manages to put him into the steel steps on the outside.
126. I am glad Otunga is not just a whipping boy in this match.
127. Oh, sure. Now that Otunga has Cena down, Johnny wants to get in the ring. Typical Ace.
128. JL was faking his injuries and he starts stomping on Cena before going for a cover.
129. Cena kicks out and Johnny tries to tag Otunga, who gets off the apron and leaves Ace by himself.
130. Cena hits and AA on JL and then he hits another, much to the delight of the crowd.
131. Cena gets the win. Surprise, surprise.
132. The show goes off the air with Cena celebrating in the ring.
133. I didn't really enjoy most of that show. It seemed like the first half hour was good and then it went downhill from there.
134. Maybe I am just expecting too much after a somewhat disappointing PPV.
