John Cena vs. Big Show: WWE Has Made Big Show Perfect Heel for Super Cena
John Cena has never had that one perfect heel to really help his character stand out during his WWE tenure. There have been moments here and there with a few stars, but nothing substantial.
At least until this latest incarnation of Big Show came along.
I am on record as not being a fan of the way Show was brought back to WWE after being "fired," but I admire the work he has done in trying to sell the entire angle since coming back at Over The Limit.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Cena has never been my favorite performer, because he never sells matches or makes anything seem important. That said, if WWE is going to keep going with this Super Cena gimmick that has been used for the last four years, might as well go all the way with it.
In a lot of ways, the Big Show-Cena feud right now resembles something you would see in a movie. There is the white knight hero (Cena) who is always going to do the right thing, regardless of the situation.
Show is the lovable-giant-turned-mortal-enemy because of some dastardly deed he feels the hero did to him. He needed to find a way to take his revenge, so he aligned with the stupid villain who always finds the banana peel (John Laurinaitis).
Even though Show was unsuccessful in his quest to get revenge on Cena at No Way Out on Sunday night, there is a lot more to the story that can be told. It took virtually the entire Raw locker room to help Cena defeat Show, which speaks volumes about how much WWE wants to protect Show at this moment.
In the past, when WWE wanted Cena to beat someone, he would just beat them, no questions asked. Now, Show is being protected in a way to help keep his evil persona going. He can tell the world that he had the cage match won and they would have to believe him.
Cena can claim victory, since it technically was. But there is controversy. His ego being what it is, he can't let that slide. So the natural setup for a rematch is sitting right in the palms of the WWE creative team.
Show has the presence, both in the ring and on the microphone, to stand up to Cena in ways that few other performers can. Even if the matches aren't all-time classics, the story can be good, if told the right way.
The pieces are in place. Show is the best heel WWE has for Cena, and now is the time to take advantage of it.
