WWE Rumors: No Way Out Results, John Cena and Monday's Top WWE Buzz
WWE is at a point where it could take a cue from one of my own personal favorite television shows from the end of the last century.
Sports Night aired on ABC from 1998-2000. In a scene, the new owner of the CSC sports television station asks Felicity Huffman's character the question "Where are we going?"
WWE is full of ideas—not a lot of good ones right now—that have no real direction or purpose. There has to be a moment where everyone in creative just steps back and says to themselves "Where are we going?" If they can figure out the answer to that question, things will be much, much better.

Unlike WWE, we know exactly where we are going and will present you with the news you need to know to get you set for Raw this evening.
JOHNNY ACE BITES THE DUST AT NO WAY OUT
In a shocking move that no one saw coming, John Cena got a victory over Big Show in the main event at No Way Out. Vince McMahon, who was supporting Cena at ringside, held true to his stipulation and fired John Laurinaitis, who was promptly given an Attitude Adjustment through a table after Cena was declared the winner.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What happens to the general manager position?
Our Take: Hopefully we can go back to having that anonymous Raw General Manger, because that gimmick worked so well. And then SmackDown can put Teddy Long back in charge, since he has proven to be so adept at running a show.
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 Cena Wins
Even if this story had played out perfectly, the end would have fallen flat because the match was not very good. No one was expecting a classic, but it was not a good way to close a pay-per-view. Again, going back to the theme, WWE needs to understand where its going before doing something. Right now, it's not looking that way.

WHERE DOES JOHN CENA GO FROM HERE?
Keeping with the theme from the introduction, what is WWE supposed to do with Cena now? He can't go back to Big Show, can he? The match wasn't good, he defeated Show—albeit with some controversy—and already said that a loss in this match would cripple his opponent.
Question on Everybody's Mind: WWE is going back to Big Show for Cena, right?
Our Take: Sadly, I will have to say yes. If for no other reason than there is no one else. On the bright side, Cyndi Lauper will be guest hosting Raw tonight, so she can regale the world with stories of writing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."
Hype Meter: 0 out of 5 No-Money Feuds
Even more alarming than (potentially) giving the world another Cena-Show match at Money In The Bank is the complete destruction of the WWE championship. It hasn't been in a main event in seven months now, soon to be eight. It is a sad time to be holding a belt in this company.

DANIEL BRYAN REPORTEDLY CLOSE TO A TITLE WIN
When I hear news about what WWE has considered doing but couldn't quite pull the trigger on it, I am not sure what to make of it. Take for instance, the report that Daniel Bryan was close to getting the WWE championship at No Way Out. It sounds nice, yet it still didn't happen.
Question on Everybody's Mind: How close is "close" for WWE?
Our Take: That is a question for Vince McMahon, but hearing stories of how he changes his mind on a second-by-second basis, it was likely brought up on Friday afternoon, then squashed later Friday afternoon.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Title Runs
In some ways, it is a good thing WWE didn't put the title on Bryan last night. If it is going to happen, give Bryan the one-on-one match with CM Punk at Money In the Bank, or some pay-per-view, let them put on a classic match, then do the title change. Last night's triple-threat match was fine, but Kane's presence, surprisingly, was a hindrance to the quality of the match.

MATT MORGAN MAY OR MAY NOT COME BACK TO WWE
Despite a lot of speculation about Morgan's future with TNA and WWE, there is reportedly no rush on WWE's part to sign him, thanks to a lawsuit involving TNA and confidential information WWE may or may not have.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Morgan worth all this fuss?
Our Take: To normal wrestling fans, who emphasize in-ring ability and charisma, absolutely not. To Vince McMahon, Matt Morgan is probably the second coming of Hulk Hogan. He is a tall, muscular wrestler who doesn't move well in the ring. Let's put the title on him!
Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 American Gladiators
TNA's lawsuit against WWE could be the best thing for fans who don't care about seeing Morgan. If WWE was/is seriously interested in his services, perhaps it will be fleeting and no one will remember in a few months.
