Prediction: Jim Furyk will outlast Graeme McDowell
With only one major championship on his resume (2003 US Open from Olympia Fields Country Club), Jim Furyk is playing the kind of steady golf that has kept him in contention all week.
There is nothing spectacular about the way the tour veteran is playing and someone could conceivably pass him on the final day, but Furyk is playing his game and not worrying about the competition.
That mindset helps Furyk deal with the tough course one hole at a time. With that mindset, the 18-time top-10 finisher in major championships will finally add that elusive second trophy to his display.
