WWE No Way out 2012: Bold Predictions for Every Main-Event Match
The vast majority of the card for Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view has been determined, and while some are less than thrilled with the way things are shaping up, there are certainly a few interesting matches that will be headlining the show. The best part is that each of the bouts could go in a number of different directions.
Unpredictability is one thing that makes wrestling entertaining, and No Way Out should have plenty of that. There is plenty of potential for the card to impress despite how rough it looked at first, and if things go the way I expect them to, it should be a very nice bridge pay-per-view with Money in the Bank and SummerSlam looming.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Here are my bold predictions for each of the three main-event-caliber matches including how all of them will ultimately play out.
John Cena vs. Big Show
As soon as it was announced that John Cena and Big Show would be competing in a steel-cage match at No Way Out, I was pretty confident that Big Show would come out on top. Now, after the events on RAW this past Monday, I am almost certain of it. Seeing as Cena has nobody else to feud with at this point, I figured that his rivalry with Big Show would continue through SummerSlam.
That would, of course, require that Big Show beats Cena in at least one of his three pay-per-view matches against him.
Since No Way Out is a lower-profile event than Money in the Bank or SummerSlam, this is the one for Big Show to win. The steel-cage stipulation makes it easy for John Laurinaitis to screw Cena over, because he can unlock the cage and send his stooges like David Otunga and Tensai in after him.
The fact that Laurinaitis will be fired if Big Show loses tells you all you need to know about this match, though. Despite how awful Laurinaitis is, he gets a ton of crowd reaction, so he is likely to be an on-screen character for the foreseeable future.
CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane
It's tough to remember a WWE feud with as many moving parts as the one that is currently taking place over the WWE Championship. Incumbent titleholder CM Punk will defend his belt in a triple-threat match against Daniel Bryan and Kane at No Way Out.
If that weren't enough, the added element of who AJ will help and who she will turn on makes things extremely confusing. Before AJ kissed Kane on Monday, my thought was that Kane would be the one to get pinned at No Way Out.
I still believe that.
The only logical reason to get Kane involved in this feud was to transition the belt from Punk to Bryan without Punk having to get pinned. The most likely scenario is that AJ distracts Kane but also inadvertently distracts Punk, which results in Bryan taking both out and pinning Kane. AJ will pretend like it was an accident and continue to back Punk, but when Punk gets his rematch at Money in the Bank, she will blatantly help Bryan and become a full-fledged heel in the process.
Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler was a late addition to the No Way Out card, as it was determined that Alberto Del Rio couldn't challenge Sheamus for his World Heavyweight Championship due to a concussion. I want to believe that there is a chance that Ziggler can win despite the sudden change, but I simply don't see it happening.
Ziggler is sure to give Sheamus a tough and entertaining match as the creative team slowly tries to build him into a legitimate threat, but Sheamus will ultimately come away victorious.
My best guess is that Vickie Guerrero attempts to help out Ziggler at some juncture by getting on the apron and trying to slap Sheamus, but she'll miss, hit Dolph and send him straight into a Brogue Kick. For the past few weeks it has been teased that Ziggler would be parting ways with Vickie soon, and this could finally be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
The match may not result in Ziggler being world champion, but it will be huge for his progression toward the main event if he goes off on his own.
