Results for Inagural Titans Fighting Card
Studio Mel was literally packed to the rafters as over 2000 strong came to witness history in the making as Stephane Patry launched a new brand of combat sports. Many questioned how many fights would actually go to a decision, but no one could have predicted that 1 match in particular would end with the two fighters getting into a brawl and walking out of the octagon! The Franchise learned through sources that Titans Fighting rules have still yet to be accepted by the Quebec athletic commission, and as such, fighters had "gentlemen" agreements with each other that they would adhere to the Titans Fighting (formerly Strikebox) rules of no fighting while an opponent had a part of their body other than their fight touching the ground. However, the referee's were bound by the accepted rules of the Quebec Athletic Commission, and therefore could not actually stop a fight and stand fighters up should a fighter decide to grapple on the ground.
Somehow, James "Colossus" Thompson, the English gentlemen decided to be anything but, and immediate take Steve Bossé to the ground with a brutal double leg slam. Titans Fighting rules did allow for takedowns itself, but the agreement between fighters would be that one would allow the other to get back up and continue fighting. Instead, Thompson kept Bossé on the ground, and started to employ a ground and pound offense, which made the fighter's corners, and the crowd, completely lose their minds. Water, soft drinks, and energy drinks were hurled into the octagon by livid fans who were pumped up to see their home town hero continue his ascension towards the top of the heavyweight class. Even Steve Bossé picked up a bottle and threw it at Thompson, before storming out of the Octagon. Titans Fighting President Stephane Patry will no doubt be looking to control the damage so as not to let this wild ending ruin what was a spectacular night of fights.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For Guillaume Lamarche, he went from replacing Eric Leclerc on the card only 3 weeks ago, to being the lead in to the headline match of the night, when another teammate Martin Grandmont, could not fight Pete Spratt due to suffering an injury while training. The Showman put on a fantastic display of combinations and slipping and ducking punches for 2 solid rounds. However, he could never recover after getting caught by Johan Croes early in the 3rd round. Lamarche was able to stand, but Croes "Bulldozed" Lamarche into the cage, and was able to land successive punches before Guillaume was able to respond. Considering how much Guillaume had dominated Croes until that point, one would argue that the referee should have allowed Lamarche the chance to try and clinch with Croes, but fighter safety comes first, and the referee gave Croes the win in the 3rd round.
The only 3 fights on the main card showcased 3 fighters with enormous potential. Hosier Bruno did not effectively use has amazing long reach and large hands, but he survived a harsh takedown early in the fight and scored an amazing flying knee that lifted the crowd to their feet! Team Thompkins fighter Chris Clements displayed devastating kicks to Jason St-Louis' lead leg, that forced Jason to call it quits, and be carried back to the lockeroom. Erik Dumaine did not waste too much time in dispatching his opponent, but also lucky that he was not disqualified for rocking Jeff Sharp with a knee to the head while Sharp was on his way down, but whose legs were on the canvass when the knee landed.
