Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Boosted as Hulk Hints at Move Away from Porto
With the declaration that Didier Drogba would be leaving the club this summer, Chelsea seemed to almost instantly know which man they wanted to replace him with.
Rather than dallying around and dipping their fingers into a vast array of pots, like Manchester United and Manchester City, the Blues have kept their eyes solely fixed on the same targets.
This has worked perfectly in their favour so far, allowing them to bring both Eden Hazard and Marko Marin to Stamford Bridge.

Now it seems like a third—and probably not final—transfer is about to slowly unfold.
According to the Daily Mail, Porto forward Hulk would not be against a move away from Portugal at this time. In fact, if anything, he welcomes it.
Hulk stated:
"I will always continue to work hard and keep my feet on the ground, regardless of whether I stay at Porto.
I have won many titles in the past four years at Porto, and I think that I have a great relationship with everyone.
If the time has come to move on, I'll do so with a good feeling. I have enjoyed a great time here. I'm sure that they will understand the motives behind my decision if I leave.
The club and its fans will forever have a place in my heart. I can only thank them for all the affection they've shown me.
"
These sound very much like the words of a man who is about to head off to better things.
If Chelsea do manage to sign Hulk during this transfer period, it would really stamp a message on the door of all the Premier League clubs looking to win the title.
The potential deal is currently estimated to be valued at a whopping £38 million.
This is admittedly a lot of money for any club to fork out on any one player, but clearly Chelsea feel that Hulk is worth the bulky amount.
The Blues did not have a good season in the domestic league last year by any of the top sides' standards.
However, having already signed Marin and Hazard, as well as possible future signings such as Hulk and Dutch right-back Gregory van der Wiel, anything is possible for Chelsea in the league come August.
It is, of course, very early days in this window, with the likes of Manchester City yet to really pounce and make their intentions known.
But, for now, Chelsea are very much in the driving seat going into the 2012/13 footballing season.
