The New Monday Night Wars/Second Coming of Attitude
Think about it.
It's the early 1990's. The WWE is just coming off the 'Golden Era' of wrestling; exciting, yet family friendly. Ted Turner buys Jim Crockett Promotions, and renames it World Championship Wrestling.
WCW takes initiatives to separate itself from the WWF. Fans turn to it. The WWF is forced to change with it, and hence the Monday Night Wars and the Attitude Era.

The WWE changes to 'kid oriented'.
WCW is gone.
TNA is in its place.
WWE has gone soft once more, while TNA is turning things up.
I see this as things to come. Everyday, the WWE attempts to become more kid oriented, from Linda McMahon going on the school board to naming John Cena's STFU simply the Attitude Adjuster. A gigantic on-line movement has agreed that the WWE is too soft now and needs to re-adjust.
TNA, however, is doing the right things. They have less censored television, beer references, hell, one of their female wrestlers names is O.D.B; short for One Dirty Bitch. They have more hardcore matches, and if they air another show, they'll get the popularity.
Give TNA time to build. Give them time to really expand internationally. Another T.V. show, even better promotion for younger wrestlers. Buy a few smaller promotions. then go for it all. Move IMPACT! from 11-12 or whatever the time is to 9-11.
The WWE has lost alot of fan support from the older people. Its these people that really matter. Parents wont always let their kids watch wrestling, "It's too violent." TNA can capitalize off the WWE's success, and failures.
WWE needs its own 'Attitude Adjuster'. Vince once acknowledged that revenue was never better domestically, both in TV and merchandise, etc, than during the Attitude Years. WWE needs to step their game up, or soon TNA's going to be saying "Just Bring It."
