K-League Soccer Video: Watch Eddy Bosnar Kick Possible World Record
Eddy Bosnar is a G.
The defender just kicked one of the greatest free kicks I have ever seen. The question now remains as to how great it truly was.
The Australian international plays centre-back for K-League side Suwon Bluewings. On Sunday, he set up for a free kick against Ulsan and made history...we think.

Take a look at the video and see if you can clock the speed of the bullet that takes off from Bosnar's foot.
Deadspin does just that and comes up with some pretty gaudy numbers.
Their report points to a Korean site they have translated with a claim that his kick clocked in at 121.68 km/h.
Not to take another's word for granted, Deadspin does their own calculations using how quickly the ball gets through the box, and they come up with a speed of 118.8 km/h using their frame analysis.
They contend that the initial speed may have touched the Korean site's estimates. Not that any of this matters because there are apparently no Guinness records of such a feat.
Never being one to crunch numbers, I judge the initial speed as ridiculous. The ball then slows through the box and cruises at a speed of OMG.
Let's resist making this feat lame by throwing more numbers out there. Let's just say that Bosnar kicked the crap out of that ball and we were amazed.
