Eden Hazard: How Announcing Decision Date Affects EPL Suitors
Lille's star winger, Eden Hazard, knows that he has a big decision to make, but no one seems to be talking about what will happen to the squads vying for his services after he makes his announcement.
Hazard's agent, John Bico, said on Tuesday via The Telegraph, that his client would be making a final decision on which Premier League squad to play for—either Chelsea, Manchester United or Manchester City—and that all the offers have been finalized:
"We are no longer in the negotiations stage. We have reached agreement with all parties. There will be no higher bid.

While the news of Hazard's decision has fans on edge, it is also a big deal for the three squads in play for his services.
For the team that is lucky enough to land Hazard, everything is set. Nothing they do the rest of this transfer window is going to mean as much as he does.
Hazard's star continues to grow thanks to his uncanny ability to put the ball in the net or set his teammates up for a high-percentage shot, and at age 21, he is only going to get better as his body reaches its peak physical condition.
Hazard is a true game-changer who is going to make everyone around him better. He is smart and efficient with the ball, scoring 20 goals and adding 16 assists for Lille in 38 matches this season.
But looking at the opposite end of the spectrum, the two squads that don't land Hazard will feel a great sense of relief knowing that they made a hard run at him, but now have the ability to allocate those resources elsewhere to improve their rosters.
Obviously, the first priority for everyone is to get Hazard signed. If that doesn't work out, it is going to make the rest of the transfer season easier on those squads. They don't have to deal with worrying and being strung along by a player, only to see him break their hearts.
All eyes will be focused on June 2, as they should. Once the decision is made, it will be back to business for the two squads who put their eggs in the Hazard basket.
