With the fifth overall pick in the 2009 Bleacher Report NFL Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns have selected...Malcolm Jenkins; Cornerback, Ohio State.  The Cincinnati Bengals are now on the clock.

Malcolm Jenkins won over 40 percent of the final vote for the Cleveland Browns, and now brings a potentially dominant cornerback to the Browns' defensive backfield.  A great pick by the fans.

Now we look to the other team in the state of Ohio, the Cincinnati Bengals.  The Bengals' season seemed to be all but lost even before it started, as an injury to Carson Palmer early in the season really derailed the team's morale.

If Marvin Lewis has a good draft, he may be able to keep his job after this season.  Right now he is on a pretty tight leash.  Who will he and the rest of the Bengals' brass take with their top pick in this year's draft?

In no particular order, here are what I feel are the Bengals' top needs heading into draft day.

1.  Defensive Tackle

2.  Defensive End

3.  Middle Linebacker

4.  Offensive Line

5.  Safety

You make the call Cincinnati fans, so vote in the poll for who you think should be the sixth pick in the NFL Draft!

1.  B.J. Raji; Defensive Tackle, Boston College

Raji proved in Senior Bowl week that he is the unquestionable top defensive tackle in this year's draft.  He has imposing size at 6'2" 335, and can dominate the line of scrimmage.  He is also very quick and agile for his size.

2.  Rey Maualuga; Middle Linebacker, USC

This pick seems a bit early, but Maualuga is quickly climbing up draft boards, and could be reunited with his former USC teammate, Keith Rivers.  Maualuga is a playmaker at MLB, and could have a Brian Urlacher type of impact to the team that picks him.

3.  Brian Orakpo; Defensive End, Texas

Cincinnati lacks any semblance of a pass rush, and Orakpo could help resurrect that.  Undoubtedly the top defensive end in the class, Orakpo has great speed and quickness, and has a nose for the backfield.

4.  Jeremy Maclin; Wide Receiver, Missouri

While this pick may not make too much sense at the moment, it may come draft day.  By that time, the Bengals may be without both T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson, and could be looking for an answer at wide receiver.  Maclin is a playmaker and a game changer at the position.

5.  Jason Smith; Offensive Tackle, Baylor

Smith is the most athletic tackle in the draft.  He is a converted tight end who can play either right or left tackle, and he could be a staple for years to come on the offensive line.

6.  Michael Oher; Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss

Oher is another guy who would probably be a reach with this pick.  While some scouts still feel he is a top ten talent, I think he may have hurt his stock by staying in school.  That's not to say he will not be a great NFL player, just that he may not go this high come April.

There you have it Bengals fans!  Make your voice heard and select who you think is worthy of the sixth overall pick in this year's draft!
